Farmstay holiday rentals in Nilgiris

I am streemly thankful to the host and his father Mr.Desingh for such a nice property. We have comfortably stayed there with our family. Mr.Desingh (Owner of the property) is very helpful and friendly, he stays on the first floor and property on ground floor for guest. The car parking and place for driver was available. We have used his washing machine as our some clothes got wet due to rain. In our 3 days stay rain added some difficulty in site seen so spent lots of time at the property and made tea and enjoyed few home cooked meal from his kitchen in the property. There is nothing to do at property for kids as no game nor TV was active due to non working of wifi and cable connection which disappointed us. In summary property is excellent for the stay of 6-7 people.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was spacious with three bedrooms and each with balconies and bay windows. Care taker was very helpful. We took an evening walk through the tea plantation and saw bison gracing in the valley. There is also beautiful viewpoint just 400mtr from this place. We would have enjoyed the balconies if it wasnt raining. Very much recommend this place

It was a good stay, spacious and well maintained rooms, can easily accommodate a group of 4-5 people. Host was quite helpful and responsive. There was a parking lot for bike. It is suggested to carry eatables if reaching the stay in evening.

My stay at this homestay was excellent. The room was clean and cozy. The hosts were welcoming and provided great recommendations for local attractions. I especially loved the peaceful location and the delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. Perfect for a quiet and comfortable getaway!

The place is located at nice remote location with just 1-2km from Vythiri main road. Stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Nice environment with clean Swimming. The caretaker Mr. Samad was very helpful and assisted us with whatever needed for us. Thank you for the great hospitality. Definitely recommended if you want a peaceful stay and lush environment. 😊

The place is really great with a nice view of the nature. Cottages are well maintained and the staff are very responsive.Food was tasty. All in all great place ti stay!

This is a piece of heaven, not an airbnb. I loved every single day of my stay here. Laiju and Namitha have been wonderful hosts to me and Elizabeth, the fabulous person who looked after the farm, cooked delicious food for me. I was able to fully rest as well as exploring the beautiful surroundings by walking. The warmth of people in the villages and neighbourhood is unexplainable with words. I cannot recommend this enough. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

The place is surrounded by tall trees and greenery all around that it provides full isolation from the outside world. It has 5 spacious rooms and and attic bedroom. The balconies are big and provide ample space for folks who love outdoor seating. It is easily accessible by road . Host Ajith was very courteous and provided us with all help during our stay there. Overall the place is an amazing option for folks looking for a weekend hideout in wayanad

Surrounding is the main highlight and the service was also very good. Property is very spacious with a really good view. It is 4-5 km away from the main town, but they have complementary breakfast and dinner can be ordered.

My stay in the Attic was a surreal experience, the Dilip n Mahima were friendly, special thanks to Alvin and Hari who made sure I was well taken care of . Very clean and peaceful stay. It was a dream like Homestay. Special mention to the yummy breakfast Appam n stew. Would highly recommend this Homestay if you are looking for a good experience like holiday in Waynad. Looking forward to come back again.

So we had the valley view room and it was perfect! The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. The food was okay. The staff was good and the travel assistant that the venue suggested was great

Had an amazing stay with our pet at Nath Villas. Nestled in the coffee plantation amidst nature the location is really private and peaceful for anyone looking to unwind and relax. The place had all the amenities required and is near to markets, restaurants and famous places in Wayanad. Mini was really helpful throughout our stay and helped with all the little details.Would recommend 100%.

I had a wonderful stay at Rowther's property! He was very accommodating and flexible, even offering an excellent view of his beautiful tea estate. Rowther was always responsive, making communication smooth and easy. The property itself is peaceful and serene, yet conveniently close to the city and popular spots in Ooty. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway with fantastic views!

This was my first rip and it was such an amazing place to stay, great accomodation and welcoming people, always at service, great furnitures and clean linen, great worth for the money spent, would 100 % recomend it. Only opull back we were charged for the Fire wood, of course everything comes at a cost, so that didnt really matter. Also there is a great view from the balcony, altogather its a best place to stay at Ooty.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, perfect place for a weekend getaway. Most friendly and helpful staff. Everything about the farm stay was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Wonderful stay with my family and beautiful scenery surroundings. Great place place to spend quality private time in Kotagiri. The home cooked food was delicious and must try pallipalayam chicken & fish curry. Host and manager very helpful during my stays.

We were a large family group with 3 teenagers and 1 child and stayed for one night only in the Bamboo Cottage. The property and facilities were exactly as advertised in the site. We really enjoyed the games amenities like the full sized badminton court, table tennis, carom board, darts etc. The property was safe and large enough for the child to play and run around. We had dinner and breakfast there. The traditional Kerala home cooked food was really well made and well served without any unnecessary fuss. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable and tastefully furnished. The garden is very well kept and has interesting varieties of local plants. One pleasant surprise was that the dormitory style bedroom downstairs, which can sleep 6 persons, had 3 separate bath and toilets attached to it. The hosts are polite and welcoming and quietly efficient without being intrusive. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Talking Trees was the perfect escape from our hectic work lives. We visited with our dog, who had an absolute blast exploring the property he was playful the entire time. The hosts were warm and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every meal was delicious, and the food exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, offering stunning views of the surrounding woods. Mornings by the river with our dog were a highlight peaceful and refreshing. Overall, it was a truly relaxing and memorable farm stay experience, exactly what we were hoping for.

it is a great villa located in peaceful area. The host Adish was extremely helpful and communicated very well. He can arrange almost everything you need for your trip in Wayanad, starting from travel arrangements to food arrangements. The caretaker Faarish was always available to help with anything. You'll also find most of the utensils you need available in the kitchen.

The place was nice and clean and was located in the heart of all the tourist place.

Our stay at Kalikavu has been the highlight of our 3 week trip exploring South India and loved by everyone in our group of 8 people - children and grown ups alike. The lush surroundings of rubber, betel nut and coconut trees and colourful plants with the mountains seen in the distance made it a perfect place to relax and take in nature. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Louis, Riyas and the ladies who prepared delicious meals for us were really helpful and made our stay very special. Particular thanks to Riyas who took us on a walk to the hidden waterfall where we all enjoyed a refreshing swim. We would definitely recommend Kalikavu to anyone wanting to explore Silent Valley and enjoy the beauty the valley has to offer.
