For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

Back in time with the comfort of today. And you sleep in one of three bed cities! There is underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You have a private entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet area. Breakfast is available for 13 euros per person. Please note : the bed cities are smaller than a double bed . The 2 bed cities in the room are 200x115 and the bedstee in the kitchen is 190x120

Close to Groningen in nature. With Sauna and gym

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

Next to our monumental farm on the yard, this small accommodation is easy and not too expensive to stay in. Sanitary facilities and a common area are located in the farmhouse. The estate borders the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is within 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can shop deliciously and have a choice of several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 min away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 min by public transport.

Martine's pretty little cottage is located on an idyllic campsite, right on a lake. There are great seating options right on the lake, as well as a really nice restaurant with a large terrace from which you can see everything. There were four of us in the holiday home and we felt very comfortable. Martine welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. The space for us was more than sufficient. We found everything we needed in the house. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Your host is extremely friendly and helpful! It is extremely good value for money... fabulous 24 hour gym too. Not much to do in the neighbourhood and the best part of an hour to walk to the town centre.

The barn was such a lovely place to stay for a peaceful weekend. Caroline and Bart were so helpful and gave fantastic recommendations. If you’re looking for day trips, it’s also a perfect base for exploring. We drove 30 minutes to catch a ferry to one of the nearby islands and it was perfect. The barn has loads of space and a lovely picnic table outside that was in sunshine and perfect for eating/drinking. Will definitely return.

Nice and cozy house with a farm-like atmosphere. We definitely felt at home. It has a very nice large garden. The neighbours' horses were walking around on the lawn opposite the garden. So we had a good view of the beautiful horses. The house has stylish furniture and the smoke is nice throughout the stay. The coffee was delicious! Everything was clean. The beds were nice. The house is close to an industrial estate, so trucks drive past early in the morning, but with the window closed, we had little trouble! The recycling around the corner is nice and Leek is also a very cozy village further on. It is close to Groningen. This cottage is definitely recommended!
