Great location , very peaceful , out of town but at the same time very close to every thing . Very nice people . The self contained unit was perfect it had everything you need and more , even a couple of cup cakes and some sweet treats which was a nice touch . Thank you guys so much . Highly recommended .

This is a lovely place to stay if you are happy with being down a gravel road in a rural setting, and quite a long way from any shops. The upsides are that it's very peaceful, there are lots of birds around, including quails, fantails and rosellas, and it's a very comfortable house with good amenities and lots of extras, like books and puzzles. BUT you need to be very organised and bring plenty of food, as you can't easily pop down to the shops. It's very convenient for the Twin Coast Cycle Trail. It's half an hour's drive from Kaikohe where you normally start cycling from, and the western trail passes close to the house.
