Holiday houses in Newtown

Such a lovely private spacious house and garden. A great set up for a break away with our extended family. Plenty of room to get together to cook, eat and socialise, then split off for some more quiet time when needed. Everything was clean and tidy, and we had all we needed. A beautiful location and very near to hay on wye which is worth a visit. Only slight downside is that the internet wasn’t brilliant, but that’s to be expected in the middle of the countryside and also meant we weren’t sat on our phones scrolling too much! The internet did work, just not super fast. Definitely recommend, and we’ll be looking to book again.

We had a fantastic stay at this fully refurbished cosy cottage in Ffestiniog! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The kitchen was a real highlight—modern, well-equipped, and ideal for cooking after a day of exploring Snowdonia, which is just a short drive away. Parking was a breeze with a private spot round the back of the property—really easy to access and super handy for getting luggage in and out. The beds were comfy, and the whole house had a warm, homely feel. We also really appreciated the smooth self check-in with the lockbox, and Kevin was a great host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Highly recommend this place as a peaceful and convenient base for exploring the area. We’d definitely stay again!

Thank you Mai and Richard for a wonderful stay. It was our second visit to your stunning cottages and it’s always a pleasure. We were attending a friends wedding locally and it was the perfect spot to enjoy with the family. Especially the open living space upstairs, games room and beautiful outdoor space. A much needed restful getaway.

Der Aufenthalt bei Rhian war einfach nur wundervoll in allen Bereichen! Es war herrlich ruhig zum Entspannen! Es war ein wunderschönes Haus, in dem wir uns sofort Wohlgefühls haben und wir auch bei Regen herrlich relaxen konnten. Die Ausstattung war perfekt und fehlte etwas, war Rhian sofort zur Stelle. Wir konnten uns immer an sie wenden, auch bei Fragen zur Umgebung! Sie hat das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, das spürt man an jeder Ecke und hat auch zu unseren Kindern sofort einen Draht aufgebaut. Für unsere 7 köpfige Familie war es ein absolut entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub. Man muss sich allerdings in absoluter Natur und City Ferne wohl fühlen! Für uns war es perfekt!!! Danke Rhian!!!

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

very nice spacious place and felt very homely

We stayed Friday to Monday. It was a fabulous weekend. The caravan was lovely, with absolutely stunning view of the beach from the caravan and only a couple minutes walk. Hosts were lovely. Lots of messages ahead of our stay and greated when we arrived. We had 2 small children (under 5) , absolutely loved the activities on site. Would definitely recommend and happy to stay again.
