Holiday rentals with a soaking tub in New York

We had a great stay! Our work group was in a bind after showing up to a rental home that was NOT what we had signed up for and unsafe. We booked this last minute and Jeanne could not have been kinder or more responsive late on a Friday evening. A true life saver! The space was perfect. Clean, cute, spacious. We could not have been happier.

We loved our stay! The property has an atmosphere of beauty, peace and serenity that allows you to unwind and relax. The house is gorgeous with everything you need to have a pleasant stay, full of details! No need to leave the house if you want to connect with your partner, spend quality family time or just find yourself. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and walking the ground of the property. I will definitely book again as Kerri was an amazing host.

Had a lovely stay! Nice getaway in a beautiful location. The house was very clean and well taken care of. The views were gorgeous and I would highly recommend to stay.

We wanted a place close to home in NYC that felt like it was a thousand miles away - this place fit the bill. My city pup became a country dog and my son, boyfriend and I all felt our blood pressure drop. The woods in the back were pristine and the teen loved the hot tub on a cold cold night. Thanks for hosting us. I hope we will be back in warmer months.

this place was amazing. closest place to the mountain. walk out of the yard right into the parking lot. place had everything you needed and a bunch of extra games to play too

This is a perfect house to spend a long weekend with friends centered on eating, drinking and relaxing. The property appears as in the photos and has many thoughtful and welcoming amenities. The highlights of the house were the steam shower, swim spa, gated yard, plush towels, soft and comfortable beds, heating pads, eye masks, robes and slippers, well appointed kitchen and bathrooms, with plentiful aromatherapy, coffee and tea products. As you can see from the photos, this may not be an ideal house for families with children due to some of the art and decor, but our kids did just fine. The house is within a short 5 min walk into town and the farmers market is just down the road. The town has delicious food and cute stores that feel like a mini Brooklyn. There are also beautiful parks and trails a short drive away. The only thing that we wish we had access to was a washer and dryer during our stay. The host responded promptly to our messages, and was kind and polite in his replies.

We have rented a number of places in highland falls and I would rank this one at the top. Super close to South Gate, a 2 minute walk and you are on West Point's campus. Place was decorated well with lots of nods to the academy. Nice family room with electric fireplaces. Everything was very well laid out and Heather was great. She genuinely wants to ensure that you enjoy your stay. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Ryan’s! The home is beautifully decorated and maintained and we really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking large meals. The beds were all comfortable and the large dining table is great for groups. Excellent location near hikes, Saugerties, etc. We ran into an issue with the water running out while 3 of us were showering so would make sure guests space showers out! The well did not automatically reset & we had trouble finding the instructions to reset so we had to reach out to Mark & Ryan to help, but they very kindly quickly sped over on a Saturday morning to help reset it and we had no issues after that. Also for future guests squeamish about bugs, heads up there were a fair number of stink bugs inside that we had to evict but that’s to be expected with an older house out there. It’s easy to miss the turn in from the street so would recommend driving slowly when you get close. Overall a wonderful stay, would love to return.

Atsuko and Satoru really helped to make my wedding weekend super magical. Our bridal party stayed with us at the Guesthaus and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everyone was obsessed with the house - from how cool, beautiful, clean and comfortable the inside was to the GORGEOUS & charming outdoor areas to the impeccable location. Everything was walkable and all our friends raved about the place, location and surrounding town. Atsuko and Satoru made is extremely easy for us all throughout the wedding weekend and they were truly angels. I feel so lucky to have found them and their wonderful home!!! It couldn't have been better, all around. You HAVE to stay here for your time in Kingston; you cannot beat the Bau Guesthaus (and there are no better hosts than A&S!!!).

Looking for a place for a long weekend in Lake Placid, we found the listing for this beautiful space. It was just what we were looking for, a comfy quiet base to explore the Lake Placid and the surrounding area. There are coffee and bagels across the street, breweries and a number or restaurants including an amazing BBQ place within a few min walk. Angela was the perfect host with clear instructions and helpful tips to make the stay more enjoyable. We were fortunate enough to run into her during our stay. We would definitely stay here again or at one of Angela's other properties in town. The attention to detail really sets Angela and her property apart.

Angela’s place was absolutely perfect! From the prime location- walkable distance to everything, the easy check in/out, Angela’s recommendations/helpfulness, the snacks, coffee and sodas and also cleanliness. I highly recommend!!

I will say Angela is a great Host. The property it’s self it’s beautiful. Walkable shops, restaurants. We wanted a peaceful and safe environment and we received exactly what we went for. I have nothing negative to say about the host or anything just thank you Angela and hope one day to return maybe when it’s warmer for some fishing.
