Chalet holiday rentals in New York

We, 2 families absolutely loved our stay. This is very unique house: lots of artsy stuff and interesting pieces around the house. We enjoyed exploring it. A lot of original pieces preserved from the 70th, that gives house the personality. The views are breathtaking- you can just sit next to the big windows and enjoy. Outside whirlpool also has view on the mountains. Skiing is 20 just min away. Olia is wonderful and generous host!

This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

This was our second time staying with Julie. Julie communicates well and the place is cozy and clean. We love the location in Keene and access to Lake Placid and Whiteface! We hope to stay with Julie again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cynthia's place! It was very clean, felt cozy and welcoming, and had all we needed. It was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. Cynthia made it an easy and carefree experience. I would definitely recommend Cynthia's place to family and friends.

Our experience at this bnb was nothing but amazing! As soon as we entered we were greeted with a lovely gift bag! The house was super clean and spacious making us feel right at home! Amazing rooms and living areas with clear instructions! Would definitely visit again and recommend 10/10!!

Lovely stay with family and friends. The host went out of his way to ensure our arrival was smooth, even with a very icy driveway and up to two inches of snow falling. The space is beautiful, secluded and serene. But also close to restaurants in Mt. Tremper and good hikes.

We had a lovely stay at the Leeds chalet. Open floor plan on the first floor is light and bright with a lovely kitchen that is fully stocked with all of the appliances you need! I personally love having my own keurig for coffee in the morning! Two full bathrooms on the first floor and they are both huge and gorgeous! Went to casa Susanna (about two mins away) the first night for dinner and it was a very chill/cool vibe. The next day we went to Hudson to La Perche for brunch. Made candles and did some wine tasting. Went to Feast and Floret for dinner. So delish!! Only note is that the TV could be a little bigger for the space so you could more comfortably enjoy a movie at night, but that’s a very minor comment!

Eric and co were super communicative, and made our experience everything we needed out of the weekend. Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

A very cool place in the woods just minutes from Holiday Valley. The house had everything you’d ever need, and the hot tub was great post skiing.

What a fabulous weekend! It was horrid outside but our family was so happy to enjoy a couple of days in this amazing house together. It was so clean, spacious and welcoming. Adam was proactive and suggested that we come a little early to avoid the storm and kept the driveway clear of ice during our stay. We would definitely return (the outside space looks fabulous -and we want to return to make s’mores)

My wife and I stayed at Ron’s place for five nights for a winter getaway. We had a great stay, highlights include a comfortable king bed, a quiet setting, a cozy fireplace, and the large ground floor bathroom that feels like your own spa- we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, huge bathtub, and rain shower. Ron was a great host and was very responsive with any questions we had. We spent many hours watching TV on the screen and projector set up, we grabbed more pillows from upstairs to add some more cushion to the leather couch downstairs.

The house was spacious, clean, beautiful and private. We loved the view of Windham Mt from the second floor! The fireplace, expansive but cozy couch and downstairs game room were a hit! Half of my family skied and half stayed at the house to relax. Being 5 minutes from the mountain was fantastic and the house was perfect. Great restaurants nearby, where we had lunch, but the rest of the time we cooked in. Well equipped open kitchen! Hope to be back many times!

the house is a beautiful space with lots of room! all of the amenities the house offers makes it a great a comfortable place to come home to after skiing/snowboarding at the local mountains that Jay and Wilmington have to offer. the house is advertised as "minutes away" from these mountains which is a little stretch. from the house it is about a 30 min drive to either Jay peak or Whiteface. overall we loved our stay and enjoyed a great trip and made a lot of great memories.

We had a wonderful experience! Pamela, Jamie, and Rob were able to answer and address our questions and concerns. They were all extremely helpful and responsive. We had a problem with the fireplace and Jamie sent us detailed instructions. When we still could not get it working they came over first thing to next day to assist. They quickly realized they needed to replace a part and were back that afternoon to quickly fix the problem and we were able to enjoy the beautiful fire place the remainder of our stay without issue. They even cleared off some of the remaining ice off the driveway before they left. The house is beautiful and vast. There was space for everyone and the amenities such as the hot tub and stocked coffee bar made our stay all the more enjoyable. The kitchens were also well stocked with equipment. We made almost every meal at the house without issue. We would happily stay here again (maybe a summer trip next time to get some time on the lake).

The house was gorgeous, very clean and cozy. The view of the lake was spectacular. Tom was personable and pleasant to communicate with. There were absolutely no issues with the property. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Alyson and Robert were amazing hosts! There was more than enough space for 7 adults and 6 kids, two dogs! (Three families altogether!) We were coming from different states, NC being the farthest, and anticipating a very long car ride. Alyson had notified us that we could do an early check-in, which definitely came in handy as we were all exhausted and our kids were ready to get out and stretch! We came during the off-season, which was still pretty amazing; however, it was extremely windy, blowing over one of the fireplace spouts on the roof. Alyson and Robert were very quick to respond and send out their handyman to fix the problem. I would recommend them to anybody with large families! We chose this home because of how pet-friendly they were and they seemed like down-to-earth people. Would love to return during the spring/summer!

Place was very nice and has plenty of room for large groups. Beautiful views on the lake and the host was very communicative.

Wish we could give more than 5 stars!!! Price for this Chalet was beyond reasonable! It's hidden on a long private road! We were sent tcode for easy access to enter the Chalet. The place is SO spacious & well designed! Beautiful decor and well maintained! Everything & anything you needed was there to use- from condiments to L. det,utensils, towels, sheets, TP, puzzles, games, books & firewood. Basement- ping pong, pool, shuffle board & darts! They also had snow shoes & sleds which we definitely used while exploring their endless property. Tons of fun! Flashlights & candles were there to use in case of a power outage. Probably got over 18 in of snow while we were there for the long Presidents' weekend. Shovels & salt easily accessible! Awesome mudroom as you 1st walk in to undress & keep floors dry from snow. Owners were in contact w/ us, esp. w/ 2 storms coming! Never loss contact w/ them and never loss power . Informed when plow would be cleaning dr way. Unforgettable getaway, Thxx

We stayed there in February for the Winter Carnival. It was close enough to get to town quickly, but remote enough to enjoy the escape, and the magnificent setting and views. The chalet is well appointed inside and out. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy different indoor activities. Really appreciate that this is a pet-friendly getaway as well. The Jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit makes getting outdoors even in winter a pleasure. It snowed every day there. Everything was shoveled when we arrived, and the road and driveway were plowed daily before we even got up. A fire was built and ready to go in the fireplace. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well outfitted. Communication with the host was speedy and pleasant. A great allaround experience for our whole family. Looking forward to staying again.

Loved having a girls trip to this cabin. Everything you could possibly think of that you would need at an AirBnb was already there, and it was so evident that this was intentionally thought through and designed. The space was great, so cozy, and was perfect for what we needed. We loved the quick walk to the lake, the surrounding area, and the perk of having two bathrooms. Great stay overall, and simple checkout process!
