We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls, hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most rooms have gated private patios however, 15, 16 and 17 share a larger outdoor courtyard. We cannot guarantee a specific room or layout for Airbnb guests. The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious, gourmet free breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

2nd floor rooms with A/C & a balcony overlooking the train yard and mountains. This is the closest accommodations to the train yard in town, walk right down to the station. It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens.
