Cabin holiday rentals in New Haven

The cabin is lovely, with a great wrap-around deck overlooking a bucolic scenery complete with a river and cascades. Jessica was always helpful and responsive and the house is comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen which is unexpected in an Airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Alex’s home was a vintage design beauty! You could tell how much thought and detail he put into his home. The amenities were wonderful, including a gorgeous living room, great sound system, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor wood burning chimney, BBQ, and bucolic tree-surrounded hot tub (which we loved). But the best part was Alex himself. What a nice guy! He welcomed us at check-in with delicious freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade ginger cookies later in our stay. He also gave us fantastic advice on things to do in the area. Overall, you’ll love this home nestled in the CT woods!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jordyn and Gabby’s place! As a full-time patient care provider and with my boyfriend’s demanding job, we were in desperate need of a peaceful and cozy retreat, and this place fit perfectly. The late-night movie setup was a perfect way unwind, the fire pit, soaking in jacuzzi under the moon- all led to this healing trip to be successful! One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking in the nearby waters—it was such a serene experience! We couldn’t have asked for a more personal and relaxing getaway. Our service dog, Loha, also felt right at home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you, Jordyn and Gabby, for creating such a beautiful space that truly allows guests to recharge and reconnect!

This place the atmosphere the surroundings it was all so lovely and needed, the price paid off. I loved the views the water and the shower outside. The bed was so comfortable very clean the place overall was very comfy I felt so comfortable. I recommend this place for a stay if you love to be away from people and need calmness. Everything was on spot from the house, the area outside to everything included. Thankyou so much for this, 10/10

This place is spectacular. Truly. The setting in this bucolic area of Connecticut is itself completely jaw-droppingly beautiful, and then to arrive in this luxurious cabin-home is really even more icing on the cake. Spacious, meticulously built and maintained, with lots of room to settle into. The hot tub was a joy to use, it’s such a rarity to have a wooden, hot tub in a rental, and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is top of the line, with everything that you could want, and my husband was immediately obsessed with the record player in the living room. Everything works as described, and Laura was an incredibly responsive host, even helping me to find a salon last minute to do my hair before a wedding! Definitely recommend this place hands-down.

Brenda was super friendly and the house was extremely cute! The perfect getaway cottage in a perfect location. I loved the hot tub, snack cabinet, and rainbow themes decorated everywhere! I can’t wait to stay again!

This was my first time booking with AirBnB and it was a great experience. Kara's directions were on point and location was a very nice area. Home was clean and with all amenities listed. My husband, pups & I enjoyed the backyard .with a river that runs through. My husband enjoyed fishing. We went to a few parks/ponds. My pups enjoyed running through the grass. We will definitely be booking again with Kara.

My husband and I stayed at Vincenzo's house when visiting friends in CT with our 2 puppies. His home couldn't have been more perfect! It's an absolutely gorgeous property, looks even better in person than in the pictures (if that's even possible) and everything was exactly as listed in the detailed instructions and info he provided. Vincenzo was very kind and responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. If you have a small group looking for a beautiful, chill location in which to hang out and enjoy nature, you can't pick a better place. Highly recommended!!!

Was exactly as advertised

Our family of four had a wonderful winter weekend at Erma’s house. The house was comfortable, even during a winter storm. Erma made sure to have the driveway plowed, so we could still enjoy a day of skiing. And the sunset views were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

What a peaceful place to retreat to, before and after our son's wedding day. Listening to the frogs in the pond and the peepers in the trees was just what I needed. The cabin itself was so interesting, everywhere I looked I found something new to appreciate. The multiple decks overlook a variety of views (none of next-door houses!), and we spent a lot of time on all of them. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, spacious kitchen, felt like home (only better). Lorraine was very quick to answer any questions, and even checked on us to be sure we were aware of the Swing Bridge closings. Great host. Hoping to return with more people (we never even used the upstairs) so we can enjoy everything this place has to offer that we didn't find time to get to. :)

Great quiet place for the family. Easy access to everything while still feeling secluded and restful

Had a great time at the cabin. Felt right in the middle of nature. The surrounding area was very loud though with people riding around on 4 wheelers. The host was very responsive and helpful. Make sure you pack your own water and plenty of things to provide light.

Absolutely phenomenal property! Definitely would recommend it to anyone staying in this part of Connecticut! The views are serene.

We travel all over the US and stay at multiple Airbnb’s a year. This was hands down one of THE BEST!! The pictures don’t do the beauty justice. The host has thought of everything in the home to make it exceptional. They were also extremely easy and accommodating. Emily and Carol were wonderful hosts. They were responsive to our questions and provided great recommendations. Sitting on the balcony with the view of the trees and the lake beyond was tranquil. The living area is cozily furnished and both the fireplace and tv were easy to use. The nearby community beach was fun to visit and an added benefit of the stay. Great location with plenty of good food and small town charm!

We just stayed at this Airbnb for less than 12 hours but it was perfect!! We got in late, but the check in was so easy and seamless. Marina has the whole place stocked with essentials like bath products, snacks, and water bottles.

The host Cameron was spot on with how wonderful this area is, awesome communication day in and day out as well. Beautiful little living place anyone could ask for! With easy access to the beach and food spots for food lovers. Cameron’s house was cozy and such a relaxing spot to be in. 10/10 would definitely stay here again for future visits!
