we visited to go to a wedding locally, so did not get to see to much of the local sites, but our stay was very comfortable and very pleased with the cottage as the weather meant we spent more time inside than we had planned. well done on providing such a nice cottage.

Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We had a fantastic time at The Stables celebrating our rescue greyhound’s fifth birthday - she got to run around happily in the enclosed garden whilst we enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco in the hot tub!Secluded location, relaxing and everything you could need thought of by Paul & Fiona. Lovely quirky cottage with plenty of space. Nice toiletries and welcome touches for both humans and dogs alike! Great walking for dogs direct from the door, just bring long lines if you are concerned about your dogs with sheep or deer as they are all around. One thing to note is that whilst one side of the garden is fenced the other isn’t, there is a low wall, a little jump down and you’re onto the wild hillside! Fine if you have very obedient dogs that don’t wander or hunt, not secure if you don’t.

We had a wonderful stay with my family at this historic cottage. Especially loved the easy access to the Fife Coastal Path that we walked daily into Burntisland or Aberdour. Excellent hosts as well. Thank you for your hospitality, we would highly recommend this property!

Had a lovely stay at this cottage . Near to Edinburgh as my son was doing the marathon but in a lovely location . Kylie was response to our messages and a lovely homemade loaf gave that extra touch for our arrival . Would definitely recommend and stay again .

Caron has created the perfect intimate, seaside hideaway that was such a dream to finish our trip to Scotland with. One of the top Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! Such peaceful and cozy vibes with a quaint fire and beach access. Caron was also wonderful with offering an earlier check in and giving local recommendations. Would highly recommend and hope my husband and I can stay here again in the future!

Beautiful cottage - comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Lots of lovely original features - especially the wonderful bath and shower! Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds and beautiful views. Peaceful location and conveniently located. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for your stay in the Lakes!

Such a beautiful part of Scotland, the cottage has everything you need. We loved swimming in the Lock and just getting a break from the real world! Will definitely visit again in the future.

If you need peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It was a perfect location to just absorb nature. The picture windows allowed us to gaze at the loch to our heart's content. We didn't miss having a tv and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Many hike were within easy access of the home and we made the most of it. It is very cozy and easy to feel at home.

We were only passing through Moffat and arrived later than expected so didn’t have much time to enjoy. Had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. Ideally situated, about a one minute walk to the centre of town. Would highly recommended.

Spent 3 nights in Garden Cottage with our dog. The rooms in the property are very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and good sized bathroom with a very good shower. The location is great for woodland walks and the banks of the Tweed is also close by. The host responds quickly to any questions and is available if required. Fabulous home baked lemon drizzle cake was waiting for us when we arrived which was very kind. Will rebook again when visiting the area and would recommend this property.

The house and garden were absolutely perfect for our visit. Donny and Alison were so friendly and along with Flossie and Tess they made our stay an absolute pleasure. We will definitely return.

Arlene's place is unique, a tiny cottage made for 2, in peaceful countryside. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including essentials for a cup of tea. Great for getaway away from it all, I would highly recommend and would stay again if I was in the area.

The location was ideal and allowed us to explore the local area. Michelle was extremely helpful and always responded swiftly to messages. The cottage was clean and comfortable with amazing views across the valley.

A great Airbnb in the traditional fashion we enjoy: ie hosts live next door and greet you in person. The cottage itself is 5* and the garden a delight. Thoroughly recommend.

The Wash House was a fantastic spot for our time in the Trossachs. The house is very thoughtfully decorated and comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We got incredible recommendations for what to do, where to eat, and where to get coffee from our hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had the most wonderful stay at Blackside Cottage and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention Andrew and Elizabeth put into making the place welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The cottage itself is immaculate – stylishly decorated, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was a real highlight – far better stocked than most places we’ve stayed – and the log-burning fire made our evenings incredibly relaxing. The setting is just magical. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning countryside, it was the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The freestanding bath was a real luxury – perfect for a long soak after a day of exploring. Andrew and Elizabeth were brilliant hosts. Everything was smooth from booking to check-out. This place is a real gem!

Location is great - a couple of minutes walk from the local pub (which is well worth a visit) and there are numerous great walks from the doorstep. The cottage was clean, tidy and had everything you could possibly need for a stay in the lakes. It’s a real home from home with Netflix on the TV and various board games to keep you entertained. Jo was super friendly, responsive and all in all a great host. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Sarah was a wonderful host and we greatly appreciated her hospitality and presence. A particular memory that was important for us was when we requested for a sponge and she dashed home to get it for us. We also had fruitful conversations with her. Her garden was lovely and peaceful and the dovecot itself was cosy and full of charm. Visitors would appreciate the rustic style of the house alongside the modern refurbishment of the living spaces. If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Max the cat. Cheers Sarah for the wonderful experience! :)
