Monthly Rentals in New Brighton

Seaside beach house was a delight! Nadia is a great host and very welcoming. The home is marvellous and well equipped. Suited our stay superbly and we’d love to come back and stay again!

Super easy, no-stress stay. The place was clean, warm, and had everything we needed. Really comfortable and hassle-free — exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again!

We were a little worried as a few Uber drivers said it was not a good area. How wrong they were. We had a very nice beach to ourselves both mornings and evenings. Beautiful sun rise on one morning. And the pier was lots of fun to walk out on with nice fishermen and others to talk to. The place is right across the road to right side of pier so was easy to get to. Nice restaurant and library in the pier building. On second night we found the hot tubs to the left of the pier and twice monthly they do a moon watch. We hit it and the 5 big public hot tubs were amazing, especially the dip in the cold plunge soak area. Also had a really hot sauna and steam room. Was a great way to end our stay in NZ. Only distraction was no real down town and only a pizza place we could find. There is a fully stocked and nice Woolworth’s right by pier and you could make whatever dinner you wanted. By the way, we did visit the beach at Sumner town and I think the Brighton beach was better - more sandy.

This is a well organised, modern unit very suitable for a couple. We enjoyed not having to have a key to enter the property. We stayed over a weekend and there was no noise at all from neighbors. The large bed was very comfortable. Take care descending the stairs from the upper floor, they are fairly steep but there is a handrail for safety. Having a washing/dryer unit is a real bonus. We would definitely stay again.
