We had a few nice days in La Chaumière aux Animaux. It is a quiet, rural place with a lot of charm, but not entirely remote. You have the supermarket nearby. The animals on the grounds - goats, sheep, cats, cows - give the stay an extra cozy touch, especially if you love the outdoors. ideal to escape the hustle and bustle. The cottage itself is cozy and equipped with every comfort. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived, and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. A small side note: the stairs up are quite steep and the steps are narrow. We were able to do that, but it is something to take into account if you are travelling with young children or are less mobile, for example. All in all, we had a great time.

Beatrice welcomed us very, very nicely in person. There were fresh flowers from the garden, butter and jam for the first breakfast. Everything in the house is as described. The bed is the most comfortable and cozy we've ever had in Normandy. It is also great that there is a toilet on top of the sleeping deck. The double shower in the downstairs bathroom is just as comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The washing machine, dryer and grill accessories are located next to the house in the laundry room. The house is located on a street and you can explore the area by car. We felt very comfortable at Béatrice's and will come back when we are in the area.

We had an amazing stay in Pierre-Olivier's apartment. The view over the marina is absolutely stunning and the apartment is a testament to Pierre-Olivier's sense of taste. We stayed a little over a week with our 2 1/2 year old daughter and that was not an issue at all. She loved it as much as we did. Pierre-Olivier was the perfect AirBnB host - approachable, super fast in reacting to messages and just very, very friendly and super helpful. We felt truly welcome at his place. The location of the apartment is on the prommenade next to the marina, with plenty of restaurant options very close by and also very close to the city center as well, with lots of shops nearby. Thank you, Pierre-Olivier, for being a wonderful host and for being tremendously helpful throughout our stay! All the best!
