Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nesslau-Krummenau

Andreas was a phenomenal host! Very understanding, he has a beautiful property and he upkeeps it with respect. He helped create an unforgettable weekend getaway!

This time we are a few Chinese people from different countries who came here. The landlord wants to say that the location is perfect, the surrounding scenery and human culture, including the landlord himself, are all very perfect. My favorite country is Switzerland. It's perfect.

Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

We spent 4 great days here with 6 people! The house is very nicely located, offers a wonderful view and is ideal for hiking trips or simply for switching off. The house is very large and spacious, each of us had a single room available, there are also many parking spaces and a bus stop is right next to the house. The large terrace with barbecue and deck chairs as well as the light-flooded dining/living room are the gem of the house. The in-house, well-equipped fitness centre, together with the sauna, is the icing on the cake! The kitchen is basically very well equipped, coffee machine including beans as well as microwave and toaster available. Vinegar/oil and many spices are also very helpful. Glasses, cutlery and crockery, as well as knives in all sizes are also there. Large refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher also great. The cleanliness was okay but not outstanding.

We had a great time staying at Jeannine’s. The house is very cozy and the view around the house is beautiful. Jeannine is very responsive and gave us clear instructions.

We found everything super well: well-stocked kitchen and everything available in the bathroom such as towels, shower gel and hair dryer, bed covered with fresh linens; small veranda with garden furniture and gas grill for dinner; short distances to the train station and bus stop despite being close to the center very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay in the very well-equipped house. The sauna and cooling pool were particularly special.

We are completely happy and absolutely enjoyed the week in the charming, cozy apartment! The garden is the crowning glory! Our dog and we would have liked to stay longer:-) Thank you for the wonderful time, we will be happy to come back!

Great accommodation, even more beautiful than in the photos. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful terrace. Elisabeth and Andreas were great hosts, friendly and very accommodating. At the beginning, we even found chilled local beer, eggs from their own small farm and homemade jam in the fridge, which could be bought at a local price. We will be happy to come back!

I highly recommend the place! Very clean and beautifully furnished apartment! Beautifully located in the Glarus region! Rolf and Magi were very warm and accommodating! I immediately felt at home. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything you need. Very comfortable bed and a great view from the balcony. The bathroom was also super furnished and very clean and beautiful! Thank you for the great stay! We'd love to come back! :-)

We had a few wonderful days at Gerhard and Conny's, who both greeted us very nicely. The apartment was clean and above all also well equipped. Everything important (e.g. toilet paper, sponges, etc.) is available and does not have to be bought. We also found the apartment immediately, thanks to the great description.

This was a lovely presented flat in an extremely beautiful and peaceful town. Great location for walks and restaurants and plenty to see and do. Would highly recommend.

Peters place was the most perfect stay for our merry team on our road trip from Berlin to Lucca. The kitchen had everything we could’ve wanted, the view from the balcony was spectacular and the location is perfect for walking , shops , swimming at the lake. It was a wonderful stay for all of us, thank you so much.

Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our holiday on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, everything you need is there - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully situated towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof at the back generally protects against the noise of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with bakery, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back ourselves.

Was at the sporting event in Rapperswil. The accommodation is close to the train station, where you can go in all directions. Optimal. The accommodation is very quiet. Everything was fine. Thank you, Jana and many nice guests.

We were able to enjoy 3 very nice days with the lovely hosts. After a friendly welcome and a thorough check-in, we were well informed about the accommodation and all the possibilities. The pool and the nearby Rhine were ideal for cooling off. In addition to the comfortable bed, we also appreciated the other high-quality amenities. Everything was perfect from A to Z. Great host. Excellent communication

The apartment has some of the best views of anywhere we have stayed. Spectacular mountain scenery for relaxing in the evenings. A fantastic location to be based for hiking the Liechtenstein way for a week. All amenities you could need are provided. Bus stop 1 minute from the apartment to bring you to Vaduz with easy connections to everywhere, or Malbun in the other direction. We did not meet Sigi but she gave clear instructions and was responsive to all of our questions.

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!

We spent 3 nights in Simone and Sascha's apartment. The apartment is very modern and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of furnishings. The hosts are very nice and gave us recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails in the area right after check-in. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Overall, we enjoyed the short holiday very much and felt completely comfortable in the apartment.
