We stayed here for 1 month and we loved it :) Vangelis is a great host, very helpful and responsive. He was always ready to help all throughout our stay. The location of the apartment is incredible - you can easily walk everywhere in the center, and the bus stops are also super close to the apartment... We took bus rides to the nearby beaches - it was so easy! The apartment is beautifully designed with lots of attention to detail, with all the amenities that were needed for a 1 month stay. Very comfortable stay and we will book it again when we come back to Heraklion. The city is so lovely we will for sure be back! Thank you once again Vangelis

Une vue imprenable dans un lieu très bien équipé et confortable, il ne manque rien. Un environnement entouré de montagnes et un beau jardin qu’on peut utiliser. Il y a plusieurs activités intéressantes dans la région en plus de la ville d’Heraklion qui se situe à 20 minutes seulement en auto. Les propriétaires habitent en haut mais ils sont à la fois très accueillants et très discrets. Un grand merci spécial à Katy pour sa gentillesse mais aussi pour toutes ses attentions. À notre arrivée, nous avons reçu des petits plats, etc… et avons eu l’occasion de goûter la soupe traditionnelle préparée par notre hôte à l’occasion de la fête de Pâques. Logement conforme et encore mieux en vrai. Rien à redire tout était parfait et à la hauteur. Beaucoup de petits restaurants ce qui est un plus après une longue journée. Yannis est un hôte réactif et pleins de petites attentions :) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Beautiful modern apartment, close to restaurants and walking distance to the old port. Taxi stand just outside the building which was very helpful. Highly recommend this apartment for families.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν πολύ ευχάριστη! Το κατάλυμα ήταν καθαρό, άνετο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Η επικοινωνία με τον οικοδεσπότη ήταν εξαιρετική, πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει και να απαντήσει σε κάθε ερώτηση. Η τοποθεσία ήταν ιδανική για τις ανάγκες μας και συνολικά μείναμε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι. Θα το προτιμήσουμε ξανά στο μέλλον! Our stay was very pleasant! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent — always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The location was ideal for our needs, and overall we were very satisfied. We would definitely choose it again in the future!

Super logement très propre et fonctionnel Nous avons passez 7 jours en famille. L’hôte est super gentil et si vous avez une question ou quoi que ce soit d’autre il vous répond à la minute près ,il est très réactif ! Concernant le logement tous ce qui était mentionné dans l’annonce était présent ,il y a une laverie qui lui appartient dans l’immeuble équipé d’un très bon lave linge et d’un sèche linge également avec tout le nécessaire (lessive,adoucissant). Moi personnellement j’en ai achetez directement avant de voir qu’il y en avais. GROS + il y a une douche magnifique ,très moderne. Il est également équipé d’un balcon pour boire son café le matin au soleil 👍 Seulement à 10 minutes de l’aéroport Excellent restaurant à seulement 2 minutes à pied . Je recommande à 1000% ce logement!!

Wir waren zu dritt und haben die Wohnung für sechs Nächte gemietet – und es war rundum eine tolle Erfahrung. Schon bei unserer Ankunft war alles liebevoll vorbereitet. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, und Emmanouel hatte sogar an kleine Aufmerksamkeiten gedacht: Im Kühlschrank warteten Wasser, Käse, Brot und weitere Frühstücksutensilien auf uns – eine wirklich schöne Geste! Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, die Betten waren bequem, und es gab ausreichend Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Wir haben uns sofort wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Emmanouel war jederzeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die Lage: direkt am Strand und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten – ideal für einen entspannten Urlaub. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We enjoyed the apartment which was very well equipped and clean as it seems in foto. In case that I would make to come to Heraklion I would choose the same place, so from the heart I would recommend to others who come. Whether as a family or friends!

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Majo with my family for two weeks in August. The villa itself is beautiful and ideally located in Agia Palagia, just 20 minutes from Heraklion and about the same distance from the airport. The property is brand new and impeccably maintained, featuring five comfortable bedrooms. The upstairs rooms offer stunning sea views, making mornings truly special. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality. Maria, the owner, is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to cater to your every need, acting almost like a personal concierge. Whether it's arranging beach trips, restaurant reservations, or even a manicure, Maria has it covered. And the massage—simply the best I've ever had! Rena, who looks after the villa, prepares and serves delicious breakfasts daily and cooks amazing dinners in their charming wine room, separate from the main house. Her culinary skills are outstanding. I highly recommend villa Majo. Perfect stay !

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war einfach unvergesslich! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Herrn Georgios empfangen, der sich viel Zeit genommen hat, uns alles in Ruhe zu erklären. Man spürt sofort seine Liebe zum Detail und zur Gastfreundschaft. Die Aussicht ist ein echtes Highlight: Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über das glitzernde Meer – wie gemalt! Morgens mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen und abends den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser zu genießen, war einfach magisch. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Die Villa selbst ist top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Ein Ort zum Träumen und Abschalten – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

The pictures do not adequately capture the beauty of this place. We loved staying at Eleftherio’s home. They warmly greeted us and quickly made us feel like family. They treated us to many goodies and the house was perfectly ready for us. Modern upgrades throughout, wonderful spa like showers. The best though- The views of the mountains are breathtaking. We also loved visiting the village. The tavern gernios is not to be missed. There is a cafe, bakery, grocery and playground about a 12 minute walk away. Such a peaceful beautiful place- we did not want to leave.

Katrina’s place was very well designed with a flair of modern touches and elegant finishes. we loved how every area was functional - including the patio. Inside, the bedrooms were well designed and had comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked with coffee pods and other basics. It also had filter water. overall our stay was very short and we could not enjoy all the amenities, we were hoping we had stayed longer.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing time at this beautiful and pristine place. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and the location is perfect , just a short walk to the city center. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Michalis our host was very responsive and always available whenever we needed anything. We arrived quite late so didn’t manage to meet our hosts but they had organized for us snacks on arrival and beverages but the local raki they had for us ready and chilled stood out. The land lady Efi even made us traditional Loukoumades, which were absolutely delicious! It’s those thoughtful touches that made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended , we would definitely come back!

Μην διστάσετε, κάντε κράτηση και απολαύστε η 3 επίσκεψή μου και πάλι ικανοποίηση και θαυμασμό για το έργο της Νατάσας Εμπειρία και ευεξία σε αυτό το θαυμάσιο ασφαλές, άνετο μέρος ενοικιάζεται το υψηλότερο και πιο καθαρό επίπεδο Airbnb που αξίζει συνολικά κάθε ευρώ που κοστίζει Όλα ήταν / ήνε τέλεια, από την ακρίβεια των πληροφοριών μέχρι το μέγεθος του καταλύματος, διακόσμηση και το πρώτης τάξεως, μεγάλο κρεβάτι. Η κουζίνα, το μπάνιο και το μπαλκόνι δεν αφήνουν τίποτα ανεκπλήρωτο.

Φοβερό σημείο δίπλα σε όλα και σε πολλή καλή τιμή το δωμάτιο απίστευτο καθαρο όμορφο που δίνει μια ιδιαίτερη αίσθηση!!

Comfortable stay at the top of Heraklion! Great sunset views, quiet in the evening, AC that works, and laundry access. Would stay here again.

Despite the not very central location and the stairs to get to the apartment, our stay in Akalli was perfect. The apartment has lots of space, 2 large balconies with a table to have breakfast comfortably, lots of amenities, more than you can imagine, including a sewing kit that was really useful. The city center can be reached with a pleasant walk along the seafront or with a shortcut through streets with many shops. Near the apartment there is a large supermarket. Eleni was a magnificent host always present and a source of useful suggestions. Ultimately we really enjoyed our stay in her airbnb and we highly recommend it.
