Holiday rentals with a fireplace in National City

We were reluctant to write a review because we kind of didn't want anyone but us to know how fabulous this place is! :) It's absolutely dreamy and everything the pictures and descriptions promise. Great location, lovely, quiet neighborhood, the apartment is thoughtfully laid out and beautifully decorated, relaxing vibe... even a private patio! What else can we say? It. Is. Perfect! Kim's place was perfect - just what we needed. We needed a dog-friendly, quiet place where I could work and easily access the freeway (my sister was having a baby, so needed to be able to move around quickly). Kim, was incredibly flexible with check-in and very responsive. Her place is pretty, clean, just as described with all the amenities you might need. It's a short walk/drive to food, coffee, groceries, and friendly people. Kim went above and beyond when in the chaos of leaving for work, I left my toiletries behind (including my retainers and some jewelry). Kim was next level - she went to the AirBnB to personally check for my things and then circled back a few times with her cleaning crew to reunite me with my much needed dental tools. Oh, and did I mention how incredibly comfortable the bed is - it was like sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend her place.

We had a fantastic experience at this spot! Our group of 5 was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail in the design. The kitchen was well-equipped with more than just the basics, making it perfect for self-catering. Our host was super responsive and accommodating, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The location was also incredibly convenient. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego – it's a great choice!

Our stay at the Casita was so perfect. It was very well equipped, cozy, convenient and so close to everything. There are great cafes, restaurants and the zoo close by! Jing was over the top helpful, kind and responded quickly to your needs. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed at Zeina and Mo's place for one week with our East Coast and West Coast children and grands--6 adults and 6 children in all from ages 2-12. We could not have been more pleased. The house was meticulously clean and was spacious enough for all. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare meals at home. An added plus was an outdoor grill under a cabana like space with a table for 6 and outdoor counter to provide additional seating. The pool is larger than it appears in the pictures on the web site. The whole outdoor space was clean and welcoming and proved to be a center piece of our stay. There were plentiful and soft towels for bathing and the pool. Zeina and Mo were promptly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We left with many fond memories of our week together, in large part due to to how comfortable and pleasant we felt about our stay was at Zeina and Mo's house.

We got in super late for a short stay, but the space was clean, charming, and very easy to access even late at night. TV was a great size too, and had all the necessary streaming services. Plenty of coffee pods were a perk! Brita with water full in fridge. Overall we didn't really want for anything, it was nice.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming little home in Old Town San Diego. The location couldn’t have been better! It was walking distance to some great restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. The house itself was a cozy hidden gem with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved how peaceful and private the place felt, despite being so close to all the action. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience the best of Old Town!

Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Laura’s place! It was an awesome location! We loved the vibe and the at home feel. Everything we needed was provided. Beds were super comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. Having a parking space was also very convenient! Laura was really attentive to any questions, and I can tell that the comfort level of her guests matters to her. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

I really loved staying here. I would definitely stay here again. close to the beach and food place nearby. The only thing I wish they would change is the couches. They are not very comfortable for relaxing in after a long day. I loved the patio area I opened the door any enjoyed the weather. The only AC unit is in the living room but they do have fans in both rooms.

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful, clean, and well-equipped AirBnb. The AirBnb is thoughtfully designed with lots of lux features. It is conveniently located close to activities around the area and had everything we needed to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The family enjoyed the pool, sauna, gym, and spacious kitchen and living areas — something for everyone! It was super helpful to have access to a washer and dryer and we noticed there were high chairs, a pack and play, and a stroller for those with younger kids. We highly recommend!

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. This was a beautiful place overlooking the airport and water! It was really cool to watch airplanes take off and land from the living room. The host was super nice and very responsive. I’d definitely come back here :)

This place was great!! Had a bachelor party with 12 dudes and everyone had a bed or cot to sleep on. Pool and hot tub were perfect and the landscaping was well done. The property in general felt pretty remote as well, which helps with privacy. Overall we were happy with the place and would recommend
