I visited KeeKoo in April and it was just the perfect loveliest time to be there. Me and my partner were visiting from London and were looking to get away from the hustle bustle of the city life and this place was a gem of a find. The people, the place and the views, they were all amazing! Because this place has just 6 tents, the place is not overly crowded, fairly quiet and you’re surrounded with nature and the birds chirping throughout the day. We did a few hikes around the area and explored the forest and the villages close by. I would like to appreciate the restaurant manager - Suresh, he was an absolute sweetheart and very hospitable. Would also like to mention Ankit and Ajeet for their kindness and good conversations. Highly recommend KeeKoo! Will definitely be going back.

Staying at this homestay made our Harsil trip truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth that it instantly felt like home. The cozy interiors, the stunning views of the mountains, and the peaceful ambiance created the perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life.Every corner of the property was filled with charm and comfort. Whether it was sipping tea on the balcony, listening to the sound of the river, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty of nature – everything felt magical.The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality, care, and little thoughtful touches made us feel like family. It wasn’t just a place to stay – it was an experience we’ll always treasure.Leaving was the hardest part. We genuinely struggled to say goodbye, and a part of our heart is still there. Highly, highly recommend this place if you’re looking for serenity, warmth, and a soulful mountain retreat❤️

This place is amazing. 10 nights flew by here. Raithal is amazing and this is the best location, as it borders the national forest - so no one is above you. We also stayed another place above Raithal and it lacked the charm and isolation. Also, Naveen is amazing - professional, kind, a good cook, and cares about his guests having a peaceful experience. Also, Raithal is a great place to visit because the unique village, culture and views - the views are great because you're high up on an open terrace. There are plenty of day hikes, they keep you well fed, and we got good enough internet from Airtel that we could work in the evenings. Highly recommend a longer stay here, and I would much prefer staying here over Harsil due to the views and feeling of isolation.

Ashish and his family were great hosts. We felt like we were at our second home away from home as we were offered homely and delicious food. Ashish's place is calm & serene with beautiful views of Ganges from the common area. We spent our most of the time in this common area. Would love to visit again. Thanks Ashish & family.

An amazing homestay in raithal with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. praveen and his family are so friendly, caring and generous and the food they prepare is really good. the rooms have a homely feeling to them and the shared bathroom is modern and clean. you can trek from there to the beautiful dayara bugyal and other places around and praveen will help you with whatever you need. if you want to feel welcomed in a remote place like raithal, then raithal barbeque homestay is the perfect place for you...

It was a neat, excellent place for families, safe and it is located in small town. Restaurants, Medical shop and groceries are nearby. it has bed with an attached bathroom and clean with hot water. Definitely recommend to others and hopefully will stay again.

We recently had the most heartwarming and peaceful stay at Orang Utan Homestay in Gangnani, Uttarakhand, and I can’t recommend it enough. Nestled amidst the serene mountains with breathtaking views of the Ganges and snow-capped peaks, this place feels like a slice of paradise away from the chaos of everyday life. The homestay itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. But what truly makes this place special is the hospitality. The hosts(Samrat Bhaiya) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect sharing local stories, and even helping us discover hidden spots around the area. If you're looking for a soulful retreat, with genuine warmth, stunning scenery, and the kind of peace that stays with you long after you've left, Orang Utan Homestay is the place to be.
