Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Simple accommodation in beautiful cottage built in 1800, for those who want to escape the stress and amenities for resting and recovery or just want to have an overnight stay on the way. Located along road 202. The cottage is warm-boned so also visits in winter time are working well. Full kitchen with running water, outhouse and outdoor shower. In the living room, there is a fireplace for rough evenings. Large nature garden with small bustling creek in the back. Parking. Nice bike/walking paths as well as opportunities for swimming, fishing and boating.

Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential building. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Lake Hornborga, historic Varnhem or thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. Our paradise, a small cottage by the lake Viken Undenäs

Welcome to the Nilsson family's little cottage. Relax with the family in this peaceful space. Extra sleeping places are available in the guest house. The lake is visible from the cabin two swimming areas are within walking distance. Possibility to bring your own boat launch ramp is in the harbor. Grocery store about 3 km. Many nice and nice excursions in the nearby area. Bla. Tiveden National Park, Karlsborg, Töreboda, Göta Kanal. Careful dog is welcome. The patio is fenced. 800 meters from the cabin you can see moose at dusk.

The cottage is located a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Vättern with Omberg as a fund and with the beautiful plain that spreads out around Borghamn. We look forward to meeting 2025 with upcoming guests and please do not hesitate to look at the listing and contact me for any requests. This will be our 10 year hosting our cottage and we have through these years met so many nice guests from near and far. Guests who describe the area as beautiful and peaceful. Nearby there is a stone industry that is in use.

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

This beautiful lakeside cottage is the perfect starting point for lovely hiking in unspoiled nature or a quiet retreat in historic surroundings. Through the cabin window you can see the crystal clear lake which offers both fantastic views as well as wildlife, fishing or why not a morning swim from the private jetty. Within an hour you can reach the fantastic national park Tiveden or maybe the fort in Karlsborg. Where we are located, we have poor reception, but our wifi is of excellent quality

This cozy cottage is located in Undenäs, on the edge of a little holiday park. From the house you have a beautiful view of the area and you can walk into the forest for a lovely walk. Do not forget to walk along the viewpoint and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is close to the National Nature Park Tiveden, where you can enjoy beautiful walks. Or visit in Karlsborg the fortress, minigolf, the Göta Canal or Forsvik Bruk where you can see 600 years of Swedish industrial history.

Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

Rågstad guest house

Cozy guesthouse to the farm. Opposite our inhabited house. Old houses that we have fixed up, but with their charm. On our farm there are sheep, chickens and our dogs and cats. The location is in the midst of the forest. We are a family who lives full time on the farm. The farm is located north of the village Undenäs and south of Tiveden. The house has electric heating and two fireplaces that you can burn in. streaming TV is available.

Uggletorps guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
