Or do you want to sleep in? You can arrange it yourself; 2. 3 bathrooms and 2 wet and dry separated bathrooms, so you don't have to queue during your stay; each floor has a bathroom, and the 2nd and 3rd floors have a wet and dry separated bathroom and a washstand; 3. There is a dining room, living room and backyard on the ground floor. You can buy fresh ingredients at nearby supermarkets and cook with our kitchen equipment such as gas stove, microwave, electric oven, rice cooker, coffee maker, etc. There is a washing machine and drying area in the backyard. My house is very conveniently located: Keihan railway (Demachiyanagi station) is 1 minute away walking. Shimogamo Jinja (shrine) is 5 minutes walking. Ginkaku-ji (temple) is 10minutes walking. Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
