Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nakijin, Kunigami District

Bear and his wife are the loveliest people. They make you feel so welcome, from the moment you step into their home they make you feel like family. They will go out of their way to help you and make sure your stay is as good as it can be. They are incredibly friendly and super happy. The house is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle but still has everything well within walking distance. I am sad to be leaving them but I will be sure to be back here. Cannot recommend it enough, 10/10

처음 찾아가는 길이 깊은 산 속으로 들어가는 좁은 길이어서 일행 모두 걱정했지만 푸른 숲속에에서의 휴가가 너무 평화롭고 점점 즐거워 졌어요. 3가족 9명이었는데 방도 넉넉하고 훌륭한 주방, 넓은 거실에서 여유있는 식사와 휴식이 가능했어요. 운전을 어려워 하지 않는다면 정말 최고의 숙소입니다. 가능한 낮에 도착해서 지형을 익힌 후 외출을 한다면 밤길 운전도 어렵지 않아요. 호스트님이 매일 아침 따뜻한 미소로 가져다 주신 빵의 맛이 벌써 그립습니다. 최고의 휴가를 보낸 최고의 숙소입니다👍

Taiga was an exceptional host! he had a flexible check out policy. he made a bonfire for us! he provided coffee and water with exceptional consideration! he was responsive to all my questions he was respectful and he has a lovely location. I highly recommend!

Staying at Bear and Aya’s place was truly a heartwarming experience. Bear is an exceptional host, and together with his wife Aya, they made us feel like we had truly come home. Their presence was warm and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Both were incredibly helpful, always ready with great recommendations for restaurants and activities around Yomitan. But what really set their hospitality apart was how they elevated the whole experience to another level. Bear helped us to book a snorkeling trip, and on that very day, he and Aya took us on a tour around Yomitan. It felt incredibly special and deeply personal, a gesture of genuine kindness and hospitality that we’ll never forget. Bear’s guesthouse itself is cozy, spotless, and well-equipped, a perfect place to relax and feel at home. My friend and I could have easily stayed longer, and if I ever return to Okinawa, there is no doubt in my mind where I’ll be staying. Thank you Bear and Aya!!

Just an amazing stay. The place is in the middle of paradise and Taiga will make sure you feel like family right away. The accommodations combine a convivial hostel feel with more private appartements. So much to do and taste all around the region, including half a dozen really good restaurants and bento places within a 20 minute walk. Taiga will also let you use a bicycle and you can get right to your favourite beach or hiking trail.

非常棒的民宿体验！老板Akira先生热情主动，提供可预约的晚餐和早餐。晚餐是巴西家常菜，早餐是汉堡+咖啡/茶，美味且分量合适～民宿装修比想象中还要好，温馨有氛围，离海边很近，非常宁静。我只能说性价比拉满了，如果需要在冲绳北部留宿，是一个超级好的选择，十分推荐～

Takuto was so nice and an amazing host! The place was just beautiful and the view was breathtaking! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Okinawa and would like a nice quiet relaxing time.

三男の1歳のお誕生日に宿泊しました✨子ども達も私たち夫婦も、こちらのお宿に着いた瞬間からワクワクするほど素敵な宿でした！オーナーご夫婦も凄く気さくで丁寧で、奥さんのお人柄にとても惹かれました！お話しも沢山して楽しかったです！ 滞在中、急遽お願いした焚き火も物凄く楽しめました♩子ども達大興奮でした！そして、まさかのマシュマロ付き！ お誕生日用のろうそくを忘れてしまったのですが、まさかの” 1” のロウソクを持って来てくださり、感動しました。 オーナーご夫婦のこだわりが詰まった、木の香りで癒される、くつろげるログハウスです✨ 景色も凄く綺麗でした✨自然に癒されました🌿 次回はBBQのお肉等々込みのプランでお願いしたいと思います♡ 家族揃って、リピート確定の本当に素敵な宿！いい思い出になりました。 ありがとうございます！！

호스트님의 소개처럼 은신처가 딱 맞아요. 숨바꼭질하는 것 같아요. 당신이 이 숙소를 찾았다면 보물을 찾은 거예요. 기대 이상입니다.

The Lodge was super cute! We stayed in one of three cabins and loved the calming surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. The new cafe had great food and drinks as well. The staff were so kind and helpful. Such a unique piece of heaven to be found in Okinawa! I would highly recommend a visit to The Lodge!!
