A fantastic, serene house that felt more peaceful than home. Anju is a great host who responded quickly to all of my questions and was always ready to help whenever she could. If I could rate this place 11/10 I would!

what a wonderful place. staying at miwa's house felt like a real insight into rural Japan. the house is so old and beautiful, and the location is stunning. the photos cannot capture how amazing the view is. nojiri is a lovely village with a cafe, shop, and all you could need but feels so quiet and tranquil. easy to get to tsumago and other stops on the train but nojiri and the atera ravine were the highlight of our stay! thank you so much for a beautiful experience!

This was well beyond our expectations. The house is right in the centre of the beautiful and historic village Tsumago. The house is very big, the beds are comfortable, we ordered delicious bento boxes from the host and loved exploring the village in the evening after the tourists had left and in the morning before the tourists had arrived. This is a very special place and I highly recommend it.
