Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We had a great stay surrounded by nature and in a wonderful setting. The common areas are very spacious, with a barbecue, tables and outdoor areas. The rooms with a very careful decoration. Super recommended.

An exceptional place, with even better hosts Our stay at the Caserío was simply wonderful. The place was spotless - very clean, well organized, and equipped with all the necessary appliances, in addition to being beautiful. Irati was an exceptional host. Communication with her was quick and smooth from the first moment. She recommended places to visit, activities to do and she was always attentive to our needs. We traveled with small children and he took care that we had everything we needed: he gave us two cots and two high chairs, which was a great detail. The garden is great to enjoy as a family: we dine there and the kids played happily. We don't have words to thank these special days. We'll definitely be back!

The cottage is truly amazing - we enjoyed the great pool, the house was clean and we had all we needed. Desiree is very friendly and responsive and quickly resolved any questions we might have. We loved the area and made a hike to Castillo de Allendelagua and read the interesting story about the templar knight Camilo de Carbajales. The house is close to the highway which takes you whenever you want to go. I can highly recommend the cottage and thank the host for the hospitality.

Carmen and José Txo are adorable, good advice and very responsive, the house is big and the game room is very nice. Between mountains, games, and good restaurants, we had a wonderful extended weekend with friends.

We spent two days at Christmas with 12 adults, a child and two dogs and it was great. The house was as it appeared in the photos. The kitchen in the house downstairs is huge and we were able to eat together without any problems. Communication with Asier was quick and easy, he answered all our questions with infinite patience. I recommend it 100%.

Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a very good week with our doggie despite the covered weather... The quiet accommodation is located on the heights of the village, very authentic, with magnificent historic houses! Don't hesitate to take the path that goes down to the river behind the house... The beaches 20 mins away are beautiful! Favorite favorite for Sonabia! We had a great time at Jaione's house, which is located in a beautiful mountain environment with sea views. The house was very convenient for our family: the grandparents had their bedroom and shower room with toilet on the ground floor, parents and children were spread out in 3 bedrooms upstairs, where there is a large bathroom with toilet. All the bedrooms were very nice, as was the kitchen dining room, a large open plan room allowing everyone to rest or play. The kids enjoyed the garden to play around the house. Jaione was very helpful throughout our stay by giving us tourist and practical advice. A big thank you!

We went for a weekend at Casa Benta and we loved it. It was a quiet little house and although the weather did not accompany, we were great sheltered and warm in the house. Both Ana and her husband were great and helped us a lot. Thank you very much for everything, I keep it to come back another longer time 😊

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Our stay at the Mara Mara country house was perfect. The house is tastefully renovated and, in addition, has a modern and simple decoration, making it very comfortable and cozy. The house is located in a very quiet area, but it has a supermarket 10-15 minutes away by car. In addition, it is located near towns and cities of interest. Finally, Estíbaliz is an exceptional, friendly and thoughtful host. She was attentive to us at all times and answered any questions we might have had. Thank you very much! We felt right at home!

We had a wonderful stay, Delphine and her husband are very welcoming, the accommodation has more than necessary in terms of amenities, the outdoor area is very nice and peaceful, no noise, perfect quiet place to relax. Ideal location close to all the places of interest on the Basque coast (cities to visit, beaches within 15 minutes, Spain, etc.). We would definitely stay again and can only recommend this place :)

This house is really fantastic. If you like peace and luxury then this is a good choice. There is not much in the area, so you have to like walking. Everything was in the house, including a basket with breakfast.

We loved spending the weekend at Petraenea Casa Rural. We were 13 people and we entered perfectly and super comfortable, with several spaces to enjoy inside and outside the house. The whole house is very equipped and clean. There are several bathrooms, so we have organized ourselves without a problem. And the spectacular surroundings. A 10.

We've been very comfortable in the listing. Francisco was very attentive at all times. The area is very quiet. As a matter of improvement that left us little toilet paper and we were a large group. Highly recommended.
