Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Muskegon River

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

We had the most amazing, peaceful, long weekend on the lake. Nothing beats being able to sit right on the dock and fish all day or float in the kayaks right in front of the house while reading a book. The hosts were so kind and helpful during our stay and made us feel right at home. We cannot wait to come back!! :)

This is a great place! Beautiful lake views and so many amenities. Kathy has gone above and beyond and thought of every little detail and the small things which matter! A welcome box of snacks, plenty of K cups for coffee. The place is immaculate and I would definitely recommend!! Thank you Kathy!

Nice place for a week or weekend getaway, especially if you're planning on fishing. Location is central to boat ramps at both Muskegon and Spring Lake.

Oh my gosh, what a stay! Great location and comfortable house with everything we needed. But what really made this stay amazing was Kellie! The most friendly, responsive, and accommodating host I think I have ever had! We were looking for a last minute stay and she was more than happy to accommodate and had it ready for us so quickly. She answered any questions we had promptly and provided more than we could ask for. Highly recommend!

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

We came into town to stay for a few days to celebrate a birthday. the home was absolutely gorgeous, modern, and everything was carefully thought out. Anything you could need, they have thought of! The hosts were very communicative and the fact that we could bring the pups, really made this trip more fun. The only suggestion I have would be to possibly add a fence and a hot tub, then you have no reason to leave! 😉

The apartment is so cute and well furnished. The area can be a little nerve wracking if you’ve never visited down town areas but we always felt safe and it was a good spot right outside of all of the thrift stores or bars. We traveled all over and just used it for sleeping but the apartment was cozy and we always found ourselves turning in early to crash on the couch. Good stay, would do again!

From the moment you walk in you're just comfortable and feel right at home. Even our fur babies had welcoming gifts!! The space was absolutely perfect for us and we really enjoyed our stay. There's just the coolest stuff to look at and admire and awesome instruments to play!!

GREAT hosts, super responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. Stocked the place with toiletries and snacks. I kept trying to give this place and its hosts 6 out of 5 stars but the AirBnB app wouldn’t let me 🙄

The apartment was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the surrounding was so quiet and peaceful. Gary was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a great time staying there and would definitely come back again!

The unit has everything you will need. There’s definitely thought put into the set up for the guest. My 16 year old son liked that she put a bag of popcorn out with a couple candies. He said the temp was great and he liked how she has an extra charger block there.

This was such an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful and private setting, which gave us permission to unplug and relax. We loved the sauna outside and enjoyed our meals in the shade of the surrounding trees. It’s already a really special place, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities and details that elevated the experience beyond any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely return to create more memories and connect with each other in this quiet and lovely cabin. Absolutely perfect!

Our family loved the time we had at Todd’s cabin, it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is in a very peaceful, quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable, both adults and kids loved the jukebox and games, and being able to have a kitchen that was equipped with all the pots/utensils/things we needed was huge. It made cooking at the cabin for ourselves a breeze. Todd was a great communicator and we had no issues during our stay at all. Thanks again so much!

Absolute 10/10 spot if you love riding ORV’s! We spent all weekend riding the trails and relaxing by the fire! The trailheads are right across the driveway which is so perfect! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your peaceful A-frame, Randi! We will be back soon!

Ross and Jade‘s place was inspiring and relaxing and indulging! The details and fine craftsmanship of the cabin inspired me, the sound of the river and birds were relaxing and that outdoor tub-indulging! I highly recommend staying here. Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Thanks for everything!

Than & Lisa are amazing hosts. The cabin more than suits the needs for anyone looking to go off the grid and find all the peace and quiet that exists on the property and surrounding nature. Speaking of nature, it’s a stone throw from Manistee National Forest and the North Country Trail (Hiking trail running from Vermont to North Dakota) if you’re into that type of thing. If not, there is plenty to offer even the infrequent outdoorsy person something to gravitate to. Be mindful of the lack of internet (cellphone) service…but that’s the point right?!?!

House was immaculate, well stocked, and very comfortable. Great communication from the host. Highly recommend.
