Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

On the first floor, the house features a living room with a sofa bed, 1 dining room and 1 small, fully equipped kitchen. On the second floor, there are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (including 1 queen-size bed), a bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate toilet. There is also a locked storage room for bicycles and skis.

Geen verkeersgeluiden — alleen open lucht en een weids uitzicht over de vallei. Vanuit het huis stap je direct op wandelroutes richting de Puy Mary. Binnen wacht een volledig uitgeruste keuken, twee slaapkamers met boxspringbedden en een pelletkachel voor de koele bergavonden. Ideaal voor wie écht wil loskomen van de drukte.

In the bedroom you have a dining area and the possibility to heat your dishes thanks to the microwave and cutlery. However, there is no equipped kitchen or water point apart from the bathroom. The Annex is located 10 minutes from Murat, 20 minutes from the slopes. Its south/east exposure allows the sun to quickly enter the house and provide incomparable brightness. Parking is easy, in summer and winter, with a closed garage. House of character located in the heart of Murat, in the heart of the Cantal mountains; A real haven of peace. It offers access to all amenities and local shops: bakery, butcher shop, bar, restaurant, supermarket. The house is located 8 km from the Lioran resort (15 min by car with shuttle option) and 5 min from Murat train station. Linens are not provided. Possibility to rent linens and towels at extra cost. Pets not allowed.
