Located in the small hamlet of Latga, in the heart of the Planèze in the green department of Cantal, just 15 km from Saint-Flour and the A75 motorway, our cottage will be your ideal place to criss-cross the many beautiful paths of the surroundings. 30 minutes from the Lioran station/35 minutes from Chaudes-Aigues and its thermo-ludic centre/30 minutes from the Garabit Viaduct/1 hour from Clermont-Fd/2 hours from Rodez and Musée Soulages

The shelter

Very cozy cottage in the center of Murat. Completely renovated, cute, well-equipped and ideally located, you'll love it! Winter: 10 minutes from the slopes of Lioran and Prat de Bouc, accessible by train or car. Snowshoeing, cross-country & downhill skiing, ice rink, truffade, aligot... The rest of the time: hundreds of hiking trails, legendary mountain passes to conquer by bike, zero mosquitoes, the most beautiful cows in the country, truffade, aligot... 🙂 Come on, it's going to be good!

Auvergne Holiday Cottage/Gite Sleeps 4

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

For GPS: enter 'Place d'Armes' when coming from the south or from the north via Avenue des Orgues.

Keep it simple at this peaceful place The accommodation includes a separate entrance to a house that gives you access to a bedroom, bathroom and sports area. In the bedroom you have a dining area and the possibility to heat your dishes thanks to the microwave and cutlery. However, there is no equipped kitchen or water point apart from the bathroom. If you are looking for calm, this is the ideal house at the foot of Puy Mary in the place called Louradou. at the start of various hikes, GR400, mountain biking, TRAIL, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. 15 km from Lioran ski resort (if road is clear). 15 minutes from the Jordanne Gorges, Lake Graves Grocery store, bakery, restaurant 1.5 km from the house. Aurillac 25 km away weekend or other rental, except July and August by the week.

The Annex is located 10 minutes from Murat, 20 minutes from the slopes. Its south/east exposure allows the sun to quickly enter the house and provide incomparable brightness. Parking is easy, in summer and winter, with a closed garage. House of character located in the heart of Murat, in the heart of the Cantal mountains; A real haven of peace. It offers access to all amenities and local shops: bakery, butcher shop, bar, restaurant, supermarket. The house is located 8 km from the Lioran resort (15 min by car with shuttle option) and 5 min from Murat train station. Linens are not provided. Possibility to rent linens and towels at extra cost. Pets not allowed.

Le gîte Rural Chalet Gîte

Come and relax in a peaceful location in the countryside, 5 minutes' drive from all amenities. Parking is available in the enclosed courtyard, right in front of the accommodation. The outdoor terrace will allow you to enjoy the sun (barbecue, garden furniture) In the village, you can go horseback riding or pony riding in a nature equestrian center; you can also feast at the Chalet Inn. Many hiking trails nearby.

The Creative Barn

This house for 4 people and a baby is close to the highway but quiet and close to nature. From the parking lot, you have direct access to the private terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ. The interior layout is very spacious, clean, comfortable and stylish. The beds are made upon arrival, and bath sheets are at your disposal. We recently added a misting fan to make your stay comfortable in case of high heat!

Located in the charming commune of Murat, this Cantal-style house with its slate roof offers 31 m² of living space over two levels, plus a vaulted cellar. Located 10 minutes from Lioran, skiing, hiking, waterfalls are nearby. Access can be by train (station 400 m away), or by car (A75 highway then N122).
