An absolutely fantastic house in stunning setting. The furnishings leave absolutely nothing to be desired even for longer stays (we were on site for 4 weeks). From the large window, we could actually watch the northern lights almost daily. The sauna is great and the surrounding area is just fantastic to explore. If we had a question for Juha, it was answered in a timely manner. From booking to the end of our stay absolutely top! This place is truly an amazing experience and a heavy heart to leave.

I really loved this place, I stayed for 8 nights as a solo traveller and it was just a great experience. The location is stunning, set right on the edge of a beautiful frozen lake. You can snowshoe from the front door directly into the wilderness. 4 out of 8 nights I didn't have to drive anywhere to see the northern lights as there's 0 light pollution, just strap on some snow shoes and take a journey through the forest in the dark to the lake for an uninterrupted view of the sky facing north. It's close to Äkäslompolo, Ylläs and just bordering the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park but still it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. The cottage is very cozy, warm and has everything you need. Kristiina was very friendly and I hope to return soon. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful time as a couple in Kati's secluded cottage. The private sauna, the cozy and quiet atmosphere and aurora lights right outside the front door were an absolute highlight of our stay!

We had a great time here with our two young children. The small log cabin is totally cozy and well furnished. Since we were there in the winter, we were able to do a great tour with the sled dogs at the huskycamp, which is just around the corner. Also, just 100m from the cabin leads along a trail. Great! Particularly noteworthy is the great host Valtteri. He is very friendly, always available and even let us know when the northern lights were visible.
