Our small cottage with sauna, located in the center of Äkäslompolo village in Lapland, along the old reindeer trail, is an excellent destination for one or two people. In the sauna of the cottage, you can enjoy the steam of a traditional wood-fired sauna. All the village's services are within walking distance and buses to the airport or train station leave from the courtyard of a nearby hotel a couple of hundred meters away. The cabin is heated with electricity but there is also a fireplace that gives heat and creates a nice and cozy atmosphere. Firewood is included in the price. The nature starts right when you step outside. There is no light pollution so the sky is very clear. If the northern lights are in the sky you can see them from your doorstep. Lake Jeris is about 1km away. There is a wifi in the cabin.
