The construction car is quietly and idyllically nestled between an apple and plum tree in the garden of our house. It has been rebuilt and expanded biologically and is a successful mixture of old, preserved and modern elements. They have a great open view over meadows and fields, to the Amöneburg, 10 km away. The construction car is comfortably furnished for 1-2 people and you can even heat with a wood-burning oven on cool days. In addition, the construction trolley has a cooking facility, a coffee maker and a cooler, so you can take care of yourself. The sanitary facilities are easily accessible at a distance of 20 m. In an attractive washhouse you can shower, rinse and go to the toilet. Our bicycles are available for you to explore in the immediate vicinity, for example the castle Rauischholzhausen (7 km), the Wittelsberger Warte (3 km) and the university town Marburg an der Lahn (8 km), which are to be mentioned with the Marburg castle and its extraordinary half-timbered old town. Gemünden Castle is a former castle from the 13th century, which was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The mansion offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups of up to 12 adults. It can accommodate 20 people in 5 double beds and on good mattresses. In addition, the building offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with open fireplace. 1 small lounge. 1 large kitchen, library, 1 sauna, 1 jacuzzi (use costs an additional €150).

You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.
