We can't even put into words how incredibly beautiful our stay at Hiva's place was. After a very long journey, we were able to check in quickly and felt right at home. The view of the mountains was stunning and the amenities above average. There is everything you need, making it immensely easier for you to arrive. Hiva was always available, extremely friendly and very accommodating. Thank you dear Hiva for the unforgettable stay with you, we will be happy to come back 🙏🏻 māuruuru

David and his wife welcomed us perfectly. Communication with the host was very good and our arrival was carefully prepared! The lodge is located at the foot of Mount Rotui and the view is beautiful however it is far from everything so a vehicle is essential. We opted for this solution by renting the car to David! Regarding the accommodation, it is very well-equipped. We were 3 adults and 1 child for 9 days. Sleeping arrangements were well adapted but there are no partitions... To summarize, clean accommodation and in the heart of nature with very welcoming hosts. Great for a couple!

The place is very cute and well supplied. The pool is cool even in hot weather. The kitchen was well equipped even as small as it is. As others said, the road to the site is VERY rough. However we managed it fine in a little economy car even in a torrential downpour and three very rainy, muddy days. I would not recommend this place if you are on a scooter though.
