the accommodation is clean and matches the description with two beautiful bedrooms, a large well-equipped kitchen and a very beautiful living room overlooking a terrace to enjoy the quiet of the countryside. The proximity of the Puy du Fou is a real plus. Josette and Daniel are very responsive, pleasant, available and very welcoming hosts... I would love to see them again. I would definitely recommend their place.

Excellent accommodation, very clean and extremely convenient! The apartment is spacious, well furnished and you really feel at home. Everything is designed for travelers' comfort. I highly recommend it, it was a real pleasure to stay there!

We spent a one-night stay for 2, and it was great. The accommodation is perfectly well equipped, everything is designed for a good stay and the river is a big plus. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back for longer!

The location is perfect for a stay at Le Puy du Fou, only 4 minutes by car and easily accessible. The house is very nice, offering many beds. Everything was spotless, clean, and tidy. The terrace, sunny all day, is ideal for enjoying a small drink when returning from the park, having breakfast or organizing a barbecue. Morgane and François are very responsive and available to answer any questions. Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting them, I am convinced that they are very friendly. We had a great weekend and we'll be back, for sure!

We only stayed for 1 night at Stephanie’s on our drive down to Spain. The apartment was great, it was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The garden is very large and well kept and completely safe for our dog. It is right in the middle of town so everything is within walking distance.

We had a great time! The host was very welcoming and warm, and gave us valuable advice to organise our days at Puy du Fou. The accommodation is ideally located in a beautiful environment, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. We highly recommend it!

Great!!!! Martine and Richard are truly exemplary hosts! The place is really a small haven of peace, quiet, peaceful and perfectly maintained. Despite the language barrier, we were easily able to understand each other and even had the opportunity to share a little moment around a small coupette 🤗 Dark ( my 4 paws ) has clearly validated them too I would even say LOVED! Their generosity, kindness my touched, contagious positivity! All this to say that I would recommend it without a blind eye! Thank you very much friends! See u later on 🥰

We had a very nice family stay at the gîte du lit du Lay. The gîte du lit du Lay is a beautiful place where you feel good. We can only admire the work accomplished by Sonia and François to create such an exceptional place. Everything here is thought out and arranged with care and taste. Perfect stay and very well located 25 minutes from Puy du Fou. Aurélien is very welcoming. The house is impeccable and well equipped. The pool is very nice, the children loved it We enjoyed the vegetable garden with its vegetables and raspberries. Aurélien also has a chicken coop from which we were able to get good fresh eggs Go ahead! You'll have a great time relaxing.

Angèle could not be present when we arrived but her responsiveness allowed us to exchange very friendly and cordial texts,while she was having a complicated moment. A bun and water was waiting for us when we arrived thank you again for this attention 👍 The house is really nice and the garden beautiful we couldn't enjoy it because we didn't have enough time (3 nights it goes too fast!!) Warm and welcoming hosts who took the necessary time and always available, perfect accommodation according to our criteria, a peaceful place, river nearby on foot, excellent swimming pool, forest and very close walk. Vouvant is charming. A beautiful area. The beaches at 1 hour, the crazy puy is the same. Anyway, we'll be back! Recommended.

This house is beautiful, the owners have paid attention to detail which shows in the decor and quality furnishings. It's fully equipped which made everything perfect for our stay. You're in the centre of town but it still feels peaceful and private. The garden is lovely with plenty of seating and of course the large pool. There is use of the garage but we always found space on the street outside. Great place to explore the Marais Poitivin or go to the coast. The town has a lot of restaurants, and a lovely cathedral and public gardens. A 5 star stay we won't forget!

Marie's accommodation is located in a beautiful, peaceful, quiet environment and close to all amenities and activities! Thank you for opening the doors of your cocoon and allowing us to escape for a few days. Our only regret: not staying longer...

Mariusz is a friendly host. He provided us with a bottle of champagne soon after we had arrived. This little house is spacious for 2 people, the lounge is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. We had stayed at two of Mariusz's houses before so we were sure the accommodation would be excellent.

We had a more than pleasant weekend. You leave feeling rested and soothed. The dry toilets do not reduce comfort in any way, as the cleanliness is impeccable. The shower is particularly large and modern for the size of the cabin. The same goes for the kitchen, which allows you to cook perfectly well despite its size. The terrace, exposed to the sun all day, offers a magnificent setting, in nature. Dog lovers will be very happy to see them coming to meet them throughout the day. Be aware of the reduced space at the bed, especially for those over 1m80. The first time we say we'll come back to a place, it's a big deal!

if you like animals, and if you're comfortable with trained dogs roaming the premises, this is an absolutely wonderful location. The little chalet is clean and supplied with all necessities, but what stands out is its location. Right in a bend of the river Lay, you're surrounded by 60 000m² of tranquil land. The only thing that might upset the tranquility is the sight of otters, sheep, horses and hundreds of birds. Very highly recommended.
