Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Waddington

We loved our stay here. The view from the full length windows and outdoor patio were breathtaking. We saw lots of wildlife: eagles, deer, seals, an otter and humpbacks. The kitchen was stocked and the bedding was very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated. We had fires on the beach each night while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It’s a walkable distance to the Dolphin Resort restaurant where the food was excellent. We would rebook in a minute.

Lori and Matt are great hosts! Their place is beautiful - the way all air B&B’s should be! Lovely amenities, great location and oh so clean. I recommend this property highly.

I’ve been coming to the north island for decades. This is a great location, great views and very quiet area. The house is very comfortable and centrally located and one can walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Easy going host - stress free. I will be back!

Jorgina was kind, helpful and quick to respond. The space was perfect for our needs. We came to Campbell River via Victoria, for the hike to Elk Falls. This was the perfect location. We also enjoyed walking the waterfront. 10/10 would recommend.

just the place i needed walking distance to the water which was perfect. only minutes drive to my nephews place as well as all amenities thx so much. would recommend and most certainly will book again

Cliff Haven on the Bay was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The views were spectacular and sitting on the balcony, especially in the evenings, was a lovely experience - so quiet and very little articifial light - so great skies. The place had everything one would need. I stayed with my adult daughter and my little dog. I stayed in the perfect bedroom and my daughter on the comfortable murphy bed in the common area. There was plenty of room. The kitchen was roomy and had a fridge, stove top, microwave, a nice table, plenty of utensils and ware, and an air fryer, I think, though I did not use it. Alert Bay is a magical place to stay, and Cliff Haven is a perfect place to experiece it. I hope we go back, and if we do, I will certainly stay at Cliff Haven on the Bay.

What an amazing place. Twice as good as the photos. Beautiful house, very comfy. The garden leaves you speechless. Just sitting there watching the Bald Eagles is very special. The view is spectacular plus we saw Orca, sea lions, sea otter and a whale, all from the garden and we were only there 4 nights. Best place we have stayed.

This place is a great find. The bedroom upstairs is incredible. I had the pullout in the living room and slept comfortably both nights. The view is stunning and can be enjoyed through the large windows or from the deck that runs the length of the suite. The kitchen was well stocked with proper kitchen utensils, decent pots and pans etc. We felt very comfortable and safe. Lynette was easy to communicate with and check in/out was a breeze. Definitely recommend!!

Great stay in Tahsis with Nigel. Everything we needed for a successful fishing trip was available. Nigel met us at the dock to check us in and show us the great property. Nigel checked in occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed. Top notch, we’ll be back without a doubt.

The suite was perfect. Spotless, well equipped, quiet, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, good kitchen facilities. The best feature was that the two bedrooms were separated so there was lots of privacy. The outside seating area was warm and inviting with good views of the strait and the mountains. Many thanks to Bruce and Dolly.

Fabulous for all the reasons stated. A couple of things to consider. A few lightbulbs burned out and a couple of lamps didn’t work. No soap for shower. And the garbage bin is now green. Easy peasy fixes. View was fabulous beds were very comfortable. So so well stocked otherwise. Would recommend and would stay there again. Thanks so much! Emily

Beautiful apartment in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Easy access to anywhere in Campbell River. Everything was immaculate and sparkling. Kelcy and her family were very welcoming and I would definitely recommend their place for your stay.

Tracy's place is lovely, immaculately clean, very comfortable, and has a fabulous view. Everything that we could possibly need was provided. Tracy is very friendly and helpful and was very kind to my dog. We will definitely stay at Tracy's place in the future!

Great Stay at the hotel chateau riverside. Sunny the host was extremely friendly and clear instructions about the place. The Suite was super clean ! I Highly recommend this place.

Susan has certainly given a lot of thought to furnishing the apartment. Great views out over the sea. A lot of lovely touches provided , milk, tea, coffee, water and sweet treats. Had a great stay.

I stayed at Xin’s beautiful home for about a week and it was amazing. I felt comfortable and right at home. Really loved the decor, plants and fish tank. It is such a quiet, peaceful and private oasis; I didn’t want to leave! Xin is so friendly, welcoming, responsive and easy to communicate with. This is now my favourite place to stay in Campbell River! 🥰

We had a girl's weekend in Lynne's lodge and it was perfect. The space was so beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. Lynne was an excellent communicator and was so accommodating. Her flexibility about checkin and out times due to a snow storm made the whole experience stress free. What a beautiful and unique space to make beautiful memories ok our getaway.

We were very pleased with the AirBnB stay here. The property is accurately described on the site. It was very clean, the kitchen was well-appointed. The hostess was very helpful in the check in process. The property is close to the little village, about half way between the ferry and the marina. The deck has a wonderful view across to Port McNeill. While we were not here at the right time of year to enjoy Orca's in the waters, it would have been a great place to do so had we been here at the right time.
