8 Steps to a private beach. Cottage with full kitchen, new queen bed, very private, big water's edge deck, unhindered views of Broughton Strait and the passing marine traffic and wildlife. Newly installed gas fireplace in 2022 will keep extra warmth and heat through cool evenings. As mentioned below, wifi is weak on a phone , good on a tablet. But it’s a spot to not be on devices. If you need major research or downloads, come up the driveway and it gets stronger. Local cafes have WiFi too

Cozy one bedroom basement suite in a beautiful quite village. Lots of reading material, games etc. Cable TV in living room and Netflix in bedeoom. This place was just beautiful! A private terrace with a sea view and mountains in the distance. We particularly enjoyed watching bald eagles in the nearby trees. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It included everything we could have hoped for and more. Communication with Heather was seemless and the self check-in process was very easy and flexible - perfect for us as we arrived very late from a ferry. Would definetely stay here again!

This place was incredible - top of our list from the 6 (!) accommodations we used on our 2 week road trip. We were spoilt by orca sightings at the harbour and then a humpback from the porch - but even if you aren’t as lucky as us, the accommodation itself is such a treat. Could easily have spent a week or two enjoying being inside as well as the surrounding area where there is so much to do. 10/10, definitely recommend the Porch and also these lovely hosts. Thank you!

It's always great to stay at a property where the host obviously cares about the comfort of the guest. I can't think of one item that we needed but couldn't find. It was perfect for cooking meals, had a big yard for playing, and was super close to the beach. The beds and furniture were cozy for the rainy days and Barb and Erin went out of their way to put smiles on my daughters faces. We will definitely be back.
