Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

Our stay in this magnificent cabin was nothing short of magical—it truly felt like we were living in a movie scene! While the listing description was flawless, the pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin is even more breathtaking in person, offering a pristine and serene escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Lori and Scott are exceptional hosts—attentive, welcoming, and always available to answer any questions before and during our stay. The cabin itself is stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it a true home away from home. Lori and Scott’s warmth and hospitality made us feel more like friends and family rather than just guests. We absolutely loved our stay at Alpenglow Cabin! From the moment we arrived, it was straight out of a dream. The cabin is beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated to make you feel at home. Waking up to those alpine views with a cup of coffee in hand was pure magic. The location strikes the perfect balance: peaceful and secluded, yet still close enough to trails, local spots, and outdoor adventures. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a solo recharge, or an adventurous basecamp, this place checks all the boxes. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

We had a great girls trip to this cabin! Private, quiet setting with plenty of space for the 5 of us. We loved the location and the quick drive to town and the hot springs. Comfy, clean beds and nice, spacious bathrooms. There are only bathtubs however, and the downstairs bathroom is the only one with a shower head, so just be mindful of getting in/out safely! Plenty of spices and utensils for cooking, we even grilled! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and Bernadette was a great communicator. Would love to stay here again the next time I’m in BV!

I absolutely loved my stay at this cabin. Hanna was a great host and easy to communicate with. Check-in was easy to understand and secure. The huge windows and amazing view are gorgeous, and the space is nice and clean, but super comfy. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast in the kitchen with ease, all the essentials we needed were there. Check-out was reasonable and easy to follow. We were so happy and are definitely hoping to come back!

The place is incredible, my friends and I completely enjoyed our stay, it is beyond our imagination, we didn't expect something so incredible, highly recommended and we will always want to come back again and again. 10/10

We enjoyed our stay. Will come back again I’m typically not a big reviewer however, I felt that this place needs to be recognized for the quality of communication and the cleanliness of the cabin.

We (two, overworked Denverites and a dog!) had such a wonderful weekend here! It was so beautiful and peaceful - there are a handful of thoughtful little congregating areas around the property, like the fire pit and the hammock and bench swing. The place felt just like home and it had everything we needed. There’s so much more space than appears from the listing, which makes it easy to hang with people while doing your own thing. We particularly loved the super comfy couches!!!! We didn’t try the hot tub, but I LOVED that there were robes left for it! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook yummy meals. There is a lot of space which makes things easy. Just overall a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back again and again!!!

The views are absolutely breathtaking. I loved having coffee and watching the sun come up! The cabin was very roomy and had plenty of space for everyone. This is our second time coming and I’m sure we will be back.

This cabin is wonderful!!! It was cozy and clean. Everything you need is provided. I look forward to renting here again if we are in the area.

This cabin lives up to its name! The mountain views are just incredible. The cabin itself was cozy -- just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway with friends. The carpeted downstairs with the pool table was especially comfy and made for a great hangout space during the day.

Beautiful home! Words cannot describe the peace my family felt here! The view was beautiful! Will definitely return when visiting Colorado!

My family and I had a great time staying at Clarissa's place! It's located just a short drive outside the town of Salida, and is both peaceful and private. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, there were tons of games for the kids, and the cabin was very clean. We spent our weekend going on hikes, fishing the Arkansas river, and enjoying what nature had to offer. 5 out of 5 stars for sure. We'll be back! PS: She has an excellent vinyl collection that I strongly recommend checking out.

The cabin was amazing and exactly what we imagined it would be. Close to town if you needed anything but far enough to feel like you had all the peace in the world. We enjoyed our stay and I have been daydreaming of being back in the cabin since I got home. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect space for it! Lovely cabin feel and cozy atmosphere. Would recommend!

My family stayed at the cabin for Christmas and loved our time there. Getting there was easy because of the clear directions provided. We maxed out the capacity between adults, a 1 year old and 2 dogs but the lofted master and open 3rd floor loft weren’t an issue since we were all awake at the same time. The main floor was perfect - we cooked all our meals there, ate together at the dining table and all hung out comfortably in the living room, they even had a tree & garland up for the holidays which was nice. A few things to note if planning to cook, the dishwasher is in rough shape and doesn’t clean all the way so we had to hand wash dishes when we arrived as well as throughout the stay. The freezer doesn’t quite stay cold so we had ice cream & ice cubes that melted. Overall it was a beautiful area and communication with Barb & David was great, they were so responsive before, during & after. We’re so happy we chose to stay here & made such fun memories as a family.

Very nice home nestled in the tree line at base of Mt. Yale. Very quite and peaceful area and close to Buena Vista and local attractions. Host provides a thorough welcome book provided prior to arrival that has all the information needed along with suggestions for local restaurants and other area offerings. Would recommend for those looking for quiet away from the crowds and in a beautiful setting.

We had a great time at Brian’s cabin. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space for everyone, fully stocked kitchen and upgraded bathrooms. The view from the deck is top notch. Everyone in the family gave it 5 stars! We enjoyed the history of the family as well. The directions were easy to follow to get there. The locals are super friendly as well. We would come back!

This was a great place to recharge - it's very remote and quiet and it's surrounded by wildlife and beautiful mountains. We would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed the home. It was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the shape of the house, very unique. The location was perfect for traveling to Vail and Leadville.

Kerry was such a great host! Super responsive and kind which is always a plus, but the house is something special. The location is perfect, kind of in the middle of nowhere, but also 12 minutes from town. It’s obvious that nice things are important to Kerry. The high quality tv, the Sonos system was so easy to connect to, the gold silverware, the beds are really cozy, the yoga studio, the hot tub (the most amazing hot tub I’ve ever experienced, the smell is amazing), good quality pots and pans, the rainfall shower! Even the quality of the toilet paper and paper towel were noticed. (Soft close toilet lids earned major points too) And I almost forgot the views! Drinking coffee on the deck was one of our favorite parts. No wonder this place is always booked. I will for sure sneak in again though! Thank you Kerry!

We had such a great time during our stay. The cabin is just as pictured, plenty of room for relaxing and games. They had lots of games ready for us, even baby toys and books. We loved the large deck and AMAZING views! The driveway was great for our grand daughter to sled down. Thanks for the memories!!
