Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Pleasant

Kara’s listing was perfect. A short drive to a quaint downtown. A short walk to Lake Michigan!! We were in town for my granddaughter’s dance recital. It was very nice having a home to go to in between events. We spent time at the outlet mall! Visited the Cheese Castle and visited some small businesses in the downtown area. Highly recommend the pizza at Kaisers. We love thin crust pizza and it was better than expected!!! Will definitely be back!!

We had a great stay! Everything was as described and we were cozy from the moment we walked in! Neighborhood is cute, neighbors were friendly, and you can’t beat the lake views! (just a few short steps from the driveway and you’re right at the boat launch) We didn’t bring our kayaks with but we could have easily walked them down. It was a great week here and we would absolutely stay again!

The space was well equipped and as advertised. We appreciate the accomodations that were provided for a weekend in the area. If you are looking for a comfortable, convenient space to stay, definitely consider Joe's rental.

Rebecca’s place was very easy to find. Entry was a breeze, the house was very nice, clean, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Everything was just as she described and showed in photos. She’s also a very helpful, flexible, friendly, understanding, supportive, and responsive host! I loved her and her place! Would absolutely recommend 10/10!

This was a beautiful house and a beautiful location. My family had a great time exploring the rooms and enjoying the views out the many windows. Lovely trees and lawn space. The design elements of the house were so fun, this felt like a house I would tour - it was cool to stay in!

Joan’s place was outstanding. Everything is just like the pictures. We had a simple issue and after she responded to us it was quickly resolved. We were there for navy boot camp graduation and the location was an easy drive to the ceremony and it was great to have a home to bring our sailor to so we could relax enjoy our visit with him. We were so impressed with this property that we have recommended it to another family member.

Julie’s place is beautiful and in a great location with good breakfast spots nearby. Also close to the Third Ward, lakefront, and a quick 10 minute drive to American Family Field. We recommend to everyone visiting Milwaukee!

This apartment was super cozy and warm. Everything was labeled nicely and everything we needed could be found in the kitchen and the bathroom.

We really enjoyed staying at the Emerald City. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed playing games and relaxing, as well as taking the city in. There is plenty to do in Milwaukee and we’re sad when we had to leave! Edie’s place was just what we need to get away for the week. Fun, inviting and charming!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! It was in the perfect location with lots to do around it and absolutely gorgeous on the inside - just like the pictures! Katie was very responsive and helpful throughout the start and we cannot recommend this place enough!

By far this was my best experience throughout all of my years of using Airbnb. I’ve never had a host make me feel more at home & safe. Even one of the days by chance my girlfriend & I got to talk to Carlos in person because he was outside with his puppy when we were coming back to the Airbnb. He was super kind & sweet. Their place was comfy & cozy too just how I like & prefer it. LGBTQ+ friendly & very open about it. As someone who’s in a queer relationship this made me feel incredibly secure which is extremely important to me in today’s world. Also their location is walking distance from the Cactus Club which is one of our favorite local spots in MKE. My partner & I would definitely love to stay here again in the future sometime & recommend it to anyone. 🙂🌈

Exactly what we were looking for-- a quiet place to land at the end of adventuring in the city. Michael is a pro. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Location is very walkable with many cute neighborhood restaurants.

Loved our stay here - host was helpful with clear instructions. Location is great - right next to an awesome donut shop and a 10 minute drive from everything else! Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the bed was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

This condo is clean and very comfortable. It is supplied with everything you need! We were in town for a wedding and unfortunately, didn't get to take advantage of all the great amenities. If we're in the area again, we would stay here.

Lori’s place was amazing! The location was perfect, peaceful, yet centrally located near tons of things to do. Whether you want to explore or just head back to relax, it’s the ideal spot. I highly recommend taking your coffee out onto the balcony to enjoy the beautiful view, it was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Lori was incredibly responsive and checked in often to make sure I had everything I needed. I would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat!

It was the perfect blend of peaceful retreat and convenient access to everything Lake Geneva has to offer. Our host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and truly committed to making our stay comfortable. They provided excellent local recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or just some time to relax by the water, this place is a gem. Wehighly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Geneva!

We rented this entire house, both upper and lower units (separate listings) for our wedding across the street at South Shore Pavilion. This rental was outstanding and created a beautiful and stress free home-base for our wedding guests and weekend. The bridal party was able to get ready here before the ceremony and guests from out of town had clean private bedrooms to stay in. Awesome eclectic vibe and plenty of places to relax, with plenty of extra room. I recommend this rental to anyone spending an important weekend in Bayview, like a wedding. The next door neighbors were courteous and very tolerant of our busy weekend. Instructions were clear for how to stay out of their way and how to be good guests in the neighborhood of mostly homeowners. I would not consider this a “party house” given the context of the neighborhood and rather a beautiful relaxing domain to enjoy the best neighborhood in Milwaukee.

Nikki was super accommodating and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We had an amazing time on our girls trip — the penthouse was absolutely gorgeous and spotless. The decor was stylish and welcoming, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. Would 100% recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

Absolutely loved the location, there were so many things near by that we enjoyed walking everywhere and enjoyed the proximity to the lake to get even more stunning views. The location was perfect for great food, entertainment and relaxation. This great location really won us over on Milwaukee as a whole as a place we’ll want to visit and stay at again!
