Need a getaway in the middle of the woods? Come visit the Whispering Pines Cottage in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful nature, streams, forests, hiking trails, and so much more! We are located near Linn Run State Park, Powdermill Nature Reserve, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Ohiopyle, and the beautiful, quaint village of Ligonier! Our cottage has a full kitchen with all the basics, 2 beds, and a fully equipped bathroom. We do not have cell reception. Our wifi is VERY SLOW/does not work.

Spectacular mountain view from picture windows on either side of wood burning fireplace and from outside firepit. Cabin is situated on 14 partially wooded, partially open acres. Views of woods, mountains, and wildlife from all windows. Short drive to a number of tourist attractions, including Idlewild, OhioPyle, and Ft. Ligonier

Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. Tasty public tap water for drinking and cooking. Private lane leads to the home with a spacious covered porch overlooking hillside and field. Ideal location at foothills of Laurel Highlands and outskirts of Pittsburgh. Town of Mt. Pleasant is just minutes away providing restaurants and shopping.

Welty Place is a relaxing getaway nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It is just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hours drive. Ohiopyle, Falling Water, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

Ridgeview Bungalow Spacious Property

The Ridgeview Bungalow sits on three acres and is in the Laurel Highlands just above Jacobs Creek. The country setting is a perfect place for a quiet get away. Pittsburgh, Ohiopyle, and Falling Water are easy day trips. Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Ski Resorts are a seventeen mile drive. The bungalow is also a great place to simply hang out. A cozy living room in the winter or the front porch overlooking the surrounding mountain range create a relaxing atmosphere.

Newly renovated home on a private wooded lot-just 5 mi from Seven Springs Resort and 16 mi from Falling Water and Ohiopyle. Well equipped! Sleeps 6 comfortably (3bdrm/1.5 bath)! Relax & Enjoy the Mountains! ***We have recently replaced a couch and chair and some bedding that photos don’t reflect. We are scheduling new photo shoot and plan a remodel on 2024! Everything is on one floor including the washer and dryer. House is very close to the hospital as well as Seton Hill University and University of Pittsburgh - Greensburg campus. Note that the bathroom is small with not much space to put your items.
