The Old Barn is at the far end of a long wing of a lovely family farmhouse just outside a rural village in the stunning landscape of North Dorset. Its amazing views look over Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire. The Old Barn is a very large studio space 12m x 4.5m with a king size bed, an additional double bedroom is available by prior & separate arrangement, the ensuite bath & shower is between the two rooms. Beautiful country barn/peaceful location

Our double height wood and stone barn directly opposite our house is found at the end of a long private drive in lovely Dorset countryside. A very comfortable 5ft bed, woodburning stove and pretty views, a perfect relaxing and cosy retreat. Easy access to lots of interesting places. Guests can play tennis and croquet. The Barn sleeps two adults. Ample parking directly next to Barn. Please note the Barn unsuitable for children and infants. NB There are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

The house is located within an equestrian farm estate and only 5 minutes walk to an award winning pub and Spar shop in the village. Centrally located for fun packed days out from Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat, Gold Hill, to Monkey World, Sherborne Castle and the Jurassic Coast. It’s also a very short drive to the popular Todber fishing lakes and historic Shaftesbury.

Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

Stonehenge, Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Frome, Bath and Sherborne are all great trips out. Dogs welcome.
