Mont St Michel is just under an hour & the WWII beaches are 1.5 hrs away. Just down the road is a family friendly entertainment park open in summer months only. Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

The 17th Century Manor House

Set in the picturesque village of Villechien within easy reach of the market towns of Mortain and Saint Hilaire Du Harcouet. This charming Manoir was built in 1743 and has been sympathetically renovated, still retaining many of the original features. The charming accommodation is available for bookings up to 4 people. A breakfast basket can be ordered and dropped in for the morning at an additional cost. Please let us know before arrival if you would like details.

Gîte Four à Pain

Relax, at this carefully renovated old farm boulangerie, surrounded by Normandie countryside. Visit the waterfalls at Mortain, Hill 314 and the petit chapel celebrating 80 years of liberation in 2024. Close to the Parc National, Domfront, Villedieu les poêles and Avranches Easy access to Mont Saint Michel, Jullouville and Granville all under one hour. Ferry ports at Saint Malo and Caen 90 minutes, Cherbourg 2 hours. Pit stop, short break or longer stay, comme tu veux.

Domaine du Silence Cottage on a horse farm

5 minutes from the forest, lake and river at Fosse Arthour, 2 bdr cottage for people who love nature and animals on a horse farm Normandy. Open garden, patio and parking spot next to the house. My secluded cottage lies in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private terrain of, 8000m2 with an own driveway. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Autonomous waterfront retreat

Come and unwind in this unique cabin located in the heart of the Normandy countryside. The 55m2 cabin comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 living room/kitchen, and a bathroom. Constructed from durable and recycled materials, this refuge has been designed to accommodate you for a peaceful stay in a green setting. However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

Country cottage

Gîte in the countryside, quiet and surrounded by greenery, 45 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel, 30 minutes from the beaches of the Bay. Bed linen and towels provided. For school holidays, the minimum duration is 4 nights. 4 people + 1 child under 3 years old A crib and high chair are available upon request. no smoking in the gîte including prohibited smoking animals accepted but not dogs categorized or assimilated or resembling. no roaming in the grounds.

The chalet is very comfortable: fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, veranda, terrace, 2 separate bedrooms, a dining room and a bathroom, with separate toilet. See you soon

Refurbished apartment 100 m from shops; located on the 1st floor, it offers a nice view of the surrounding nature. Ideal for walkers with the GR22 nearby; for cyclists with greenways to reach Mt St Michel (55 km) and with a garage for bicycles; for climbing with the small waterfall site; beaches 55 km away. Linens and towels are provided and bed made on arrival. Looking forward to hosting you again in this quiet place.

For nature lovers, while having the city nearby by car. Historical and seaside locations are also within driving distance.

Mini gîte "Le petit fournil" in Normandy

Our old bakery is part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs, an attic bedroom has 3 independent beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast (farmhouse bread, jam) is available on request for 5 euros per person. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stop.
