Holiday rentals with a patio in Monteverde

we had a wonderful stay at monteverde thanks to dulce! the home is clean and beautiful and the location is central to the nature preserves. perfect for birding!

A very nice and quiet place to stay. You can get to the village and supermarkets very quickly. You have everything you need in the accommodation and also look directly into the beautiful trees, where we have also seen some animals. Oscar was very reliable and always responded quickly to messages.

Awesome spot in Monteverde. There’s two bedrooms with three beds, and two bathrooms. The place is laid out well with a nice dining area, open kitchen with everything you need to cook, and plenty of space. The kitchenware is high quality and easy to use. Parking is off-street in the family garage. The family took care to make everything warm and welcoming upon arrival. Stacy’s family, Juan Carlos and Giselle met us and took care of everything. Juan Carlos mentioned he is a local guide and we took him up on a night tour. It was fantastic! We highly recommend this Airbnb and, if you’re looking for a local guide, consider going with Juan Carlos if he has availability!

Place was exactly as described and felt even more spacious than in the pictures. Modern and spotless. Jacuzzi tub was a plus after a long day of hiking. Convenient if you have a car and want something a bit more remote but still 5-10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The balcony is the true highlight—perfect for watching wildlife. We spotted 54 bird species on the property, including the charismatic Three-wattled Bellbird, watched a troop of nine monkeys, and even saw a compost-diving coati—all from the comfort of the balcony. The hosts were fantastic at communicating, and the lodging was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. All the amenities and equipment worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals for a week. There’s also a small grocery and bakery conveniently located across the street. The location is excellent—within a 10-minute walk you’ll find Curi Cancha Reserve, Bajo del Tigre, the Monteverde Waterfall, and the Crandall Reserve, which is accessible directly from the property. There is some occasional road noise from motorcycles and milk trucks, but the incredible wildlife and comfort more than make up for it. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a front-row seat

Mauricio's place is fantastic. It's located close to a number of tourist spots (restaurants and activities) that can be walked to. It was very clean and very spacious. It was the perfect place to relax after lots of nature-based activities in the area. We would definitely recommend and will be back!

Jean and Nelson run a wonderful place. Nelson runs the grounds and is super responsive and onsite for any needs. The location is amazing with beautiful views, hummingbirds feeding on the hedges, and the house is modern and comfortable. Everything you want to do is close by such as the cloud forest, restaurants, tours, etc. but the place is super private. Highly recommended.

Daiana’s home was wonderful. We only spent 24 hours in Monteverde and we are so glad we chose this house. Our host was accommodating with a late check out, always responsive, the house is well appointed and it was such a beautiful place. Loved our time here! Phenomenal view!

Great location

Our stay at Jarvey and Flor’s house was everything we’d hoped for and more. The house itself is even nicer than the photos and conveniently located close to all that Santa Elena and Monteverde have to offer. Jarvey and Flor were the perfect hosts. We were traveling with our 6-month-old (which can be a little stressful at times!) and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for him and even provided us with a brand new bouncer to keep him entertained. Jarvey was always on hand to answer our questions and was quick to address any problems we had. There was even a little welcome hamper waiting for us on arrival - truly the kindest and most generous hosts out there :) We’ll miss waking up to the beautiful sights and sounds of the cloud forest. Thank you Jarvey and Flor for a memorable stay!

Great place to stay! Nice view of the mountains, big rooms and good kitchen. Good location to do some activities in the area. We only stayed for one night but we could check-in early en enjoyed our stay!

This 3-bedroom home was perfect for my family! Our two teenage children were thrilled to have their own rooms. We were also willing to pay the $20 fee to use the washer and dryer since we were coming from the beach, and this was the middle leg of our trip. Just know that it is a semi-automatic washer, but it is not hard to use if you've never used one before. The place was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had great consistent access to hot water. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. The home is in a convenient location. We walked to the Santa Elena triangle for meals and coffee and felt like it was safe enough to let our kids walk on their own as well. There are a variety of activities you can take part in while in this area. We enjoyed four lovely nights in this house. Finally, the hosts were proactive in messaging us and prompt with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Monteverde, we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The most incredible view! One of the best locations we have ever stayed for sunsets, dramatic views, and wildlife. Wonderful hosts. I will add...this is a great place for explorers. It's not ideal for high maintenance folks. There are bugs, that get into the house. There's no AC - although the fans and mountain air made it comfortable for us. Very remote - amazing if that floats your boat - be ready to drive for any stores/restaurants etc. Overall, highly recommend 5 stars. If you're looking for luxury, look somewhere else.

While many other reviews mentioned it, I’ll have to note here again: the view is amazing. I enjoy taking so many photos through out our trip as the view is spectacular and it chnages quickly at different times, different weather. The weather has been kind to us so it only rained very hard mostly at night and few hours in the afternoon (mid June). Sitting out on the deck in the morning is peaceful and not too cold. All of the descriptions are accurate. The road coming here is rough but so is almost everywhere else in Monteverde. Definitely one of the best Airbnb places we’ve been.

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

A small, cozy space, but above all very clean and tidy.

Found our stay at the apartment comfortable and enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses comfortable as were the sofas in the living space. It was an ideal location for our base for the week, close to town and restaurants, but also perfect as a sanctuary from some spectacular rain and thunderstorms that would roll in. We never really used the kitchen for cooking but it had all the amenities. The shower had good water pressure and hot water if needed. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions. If we needed it, fresh towels and sheets were available as was a tidy and clean of the garbage and bathroom from the helpful lady who worked there. We stayed for just over a week and would happily return and recommend to others.

Well located apartment with everything you need and a beautiful terrace! Everything is within walking distance! Communication was easy and nice!👍🏻:-)

It is a very nice condominium and fits a family of 5 to 6 people very well equipped and all functional. Very comfortable beds and each room with its own bathroom. We will definitely be back at any time. Thank you for your hospitality.
