Cottage holiday rentals in Montesano

As an Airbnb host myself, I’ve developed a pretty critical eye when it comes to the places I stay. I notice the cleanliness, the attention to details and the decor. The little things the host does to make a guest feel noticed and valued and whether or not they can strike the balance between friendly and available but not intrusive. Susan and her BEAUTIFULLY decorated place checked all the boxes. She very obviously puts her heart into hosting and goes above and beyond in her role. Personalized video instructions, warm cookies and a chalk welcome note… luxurious bedding and decor and an impeccably manicured yard were some of my favorite touches. Thanks, Susan, for a truly special weekend away.

This location was above expectation. It was quiet and beautiful. There were great amenities with the club house as well. My kids enjoyed the pool. My husband and I enjoyed the games and hot tub. It was easy to walk everywhere. The accessible beaches and walking trails made this place one of a kind.

Stayed at this house with a few friends for the weekend and had such a lovely time. Serene views of the passage from a heated deck and hot tub, and spacious living quarters for everyone to have separate sleeping quarters.

Our family enjoyed our week stay at Sweet Caroline. Reisha was a wonderful host, very proactive and organized -- things to do, instructions to arrive -- so all we had to do is show up and relax. The house was perfect, clean, lots of space, well stocked (kitchen, games, TV). One of the things we loved about the house was the carriage house, which gave our kids some extra space for themselves. Wraparound porch was a great lazy spot. Hot tub was a hit. Reisha's house was the perfect landing spot for us -- a short walk to everything in Seabrook, but on a peaceful street, with a small common park next door. We came with a dog, and also appreciated how the yard was fenced so he could sit outside in the sun and think about whatever popped into his head. A great stay, thank you -- we highly recommend this house and host. We'll be back!

We had a great stay at this well appointed home. Brandi and Michelle were responsive and answered our couple of questions quickly. We did let them know about a couple of minor maintenance issues and I very much feel they will be addressed asap. There are tons of little issues touches from bedtime stories in the kids room to extras in the kitchen that made our stay comfortable and happy. Thank you!

This is (at least) our SIXTH stay at Oberon and it never disappoints. So many wonderful improvements over the years and we always depart already pining for our next visit.

Great place with very relaxing atmosphere. There is an otter living in the lake. We loved watching him swim around. Quiet and comfortable. The jacuzzi and sauna was our favorite part! 10/10 recommend

Great spot, such a beautiful and cozy little house with truly unbelievable views. Walkable to a cluster of small shops and restaurants and down to two different beaches. And Mt Rainier right out the window! Would definitely stay with Thomas again!

This was an amazing river house. Clean and welcoming, even fresh flowers and a thank you note! The owners go above and beyond to make the stay easy and comfortable. Beautiful view, large yard with room to play. Perfect for families. Had lots of yard/beach toys to use. Home was cozy, comfy and quiet! Kids loved the piano and our pup thoroughly enjoyed the large space outside to hang out. Location was perfect if you want to visit Long Beach , Astoria and Seaside. We will be planning another trip to this home! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful get away Eagle Point Cottage. The view was incredible. They really thought of everything to make a fun, comfortable, relaxing, and safe getaway. We had an amazing time kayaking and got to see lots of wildlife. They even reached out to let us know about an opportunity for a possible Orca sighting (we didn’t see one but did enjoy all the seals and sea lions while kayaking). They also had lots of indoor activities for rainy days. Check out was easy. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return again in the future.

This cottage perfectly fit our needs - just to be able to gaze into space and watch the skies and the water. We walked during the low tide twice a day, which was really special. We appreciated that Jeff and Traci provided binos so that we could make out the ships and boats going through the river. Fascinating history of the town as far as the salmon industry and the cannery there. The location was condusive to our exploration of both the Oregon and WA coasts.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Bay City cottage. It's a private, clean, and comfortable place. It has a full kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. There are outdoor spaces giving you a variety of options to just relax and enjoy the river view. The location is centrally located and provides easy access to day excursions to Westport, Grayland Beaches, Bottle Beach, Johns River Natural Area, and Tokeland. We would recommend the Bay City cottage for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Easy check in, alley parking shared with other unit. Stairs from street are in need of repair but unit is accessed easily from the side. Great location close to Point Defiance and Ruston Way

The home was spotless and within walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was well-appointed, very clean... especially the appliances. Renee was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Beautiful peaceful spot on creek with lots of trees, bunny rabbits, and birds. The drive in along the Columbia river is gorgeous. The cottage was beyond my expectations. I usually do not pay attention to home decorations and such, but the whole place looked like it could be featured in better homes and gardens. I cannot think of one thing she could improve. She thought of everything. Even the books on her bookshelves are great. I would definitely stay here again. I told my friends in Longview, if they had family visiting have them stay at this place, they will forgive you. Dan Sacramento, CA

Our family of four and our mini-Aussie loved Catherine's AirBnB. We wanted to stay close to my in-laws, who live in Chehalis, and other out-of-town family who were also in Chehalis for several days to bring in the New Year. The kitchen was fully equipped for a family meal and game night, and all ten of us fit comfortably and enjoyed the space that night. My husband did see Quasi the duck one morning when he returned from a trip to the local Safeway. :) Catherine was our most gracious AirBnB host and quickly responded to our inquiries. We highly recommend her AirBnB to anyone looking for a gorgeous, comfortable home away from home.

The pride in ownership of this place was exceptional. There were 2 big storms while we were there this weekend and we were forced to wait out these storms before getting the boats off the dock and onto the trailers. We had checked out already and had nowhere to stay dry. They accommodated us by letting us all go back into our cabin until the storm passed and it was safe. They even offered us to stay an extra night and wait until morning. This is a 10/10 place. EVERYONE and EVERYTHING was wonderful... we can't wait to schedule our next get away! Super cute area - easy to get to beach access since the winter property access was closed. Drove to north cove and it was beautiful and quaint- we loved our stay 😊

Wow! What a beautiful and thoughtful space. If I could’ve moved in permanently I would’ve! Hosts went above and beyond to make my stay an excellent one. Fantastic location!
