We had a wonderful long weekend in Bologna and our accommodation was perfect - great decor, very clean and fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing weekend. The location is superb, just off Piazza Maggiore and everything worth seeing is walkable from the apartment. Excellent place!

The small apartment was very cozy and Gianfranco and Alice are very welcoming. The sweet breakfast was wonderful, the homemade jam very tasty. Very familiar stay. Important to know for everyone without a car: There is no bus in the evening, then you can only walk or take a taxi.

Our stay was marvelous. Lilia was fun, gracious and kind! She made a great breakfast every morning. Matteo helped us book tours and he went out of his way to help us and make our stay perfect. I recommend anyone to stay here!! Fantastico!

Matteo’s bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and the views are incredible. Get outside the city and enjoy some peace and quiet! We enjoyed nearly trails and the local food and wine were a treat. The on-site restaurant is fabulous, so make sure you go during your stay! Matteo was such a gracious host who made sure we always had everything we needed and was very responsive whenever we had questions. My mom is already talking about wanting to go back! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

Great place to stay for our 2 families before leaving from Bologna airport. Parking on site. Very nice place, tidy and clean. Sweet and caring hostess! Really good restaurant and breakfast.

We had a lovely overnight stay. We booked to be close to the airport and it was a short walking distance! Other than that, the town is quite small and there’s not much to do. But perfect for an overnight stay if you have to fly the next day.

The stay with Francesco was great. The room was perfect, also great breakfast. Quiet location just outside Bologna, easily reachable by car. Parking is always available in the building. Great communication with Francesco, who was always very helpful on everything! Highly recommend!

It's close to the airport and there's free parking. The room is perfect for a short stay, the apartment has everything you may need and everything was clean. Luca is very friendly and kind.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was recently renovated and the space was very clean. The views over the Tuscan Hills were truly breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and flex with our late check-in, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Of the many places we stayed in Italy, this was our favorite. Carlo is an outstanding host. He has great restaurant recommendations, and we really enjoyed talking with and getting to know him. His breakfasts are great too. Each morning, we had delicious croissants from local bakeries, fruit, bread, and our choice of coffee. There was a savory option that looked good too. The room was comfortable with its own, secluded bathroom. We slept very well here. And the location is perfect--close to the train station as well as historic downtown, which is extremely walkable. Don't miss the panoramic view from the terrace! Finally, Carlo has a sweet, adorable dog who made our stay even better. I would recommend booking here to anyone interested in visiting the lovely town of Bologna.

A short but enough stay to sense the care and love with which Il Fienile was conceived. Cleanliness, details, a clear view of the use of the spaces of an old barn. We woke up in the morning to the beautiful birds. Strategic location, recommended for a Bolognese stay away from the chaos of the city or as a starting point for explorations in the countryside.

Perfect little Place that was in the heart of the area for cheese, ham and balsamic tours. Even better tour started 15 min from Her place. More importantly, we were coming from Portofino on a Saturday night and got behind and she was kind to wait for us to check i before starting g her evening and even found us a great local place to eat. The next morning bfast was ready early and Christina was around for a chat and offered great recommendations. Would go back without a doubt. Room was perfecto. Moreover, the moon was full and without the light pollution it was even better to see. Thanks Christina!

We only stayed for one night but we immediately felt at home. The room was perfect like the whole house but the real plus was being welcomed by a special and helpful person like Cristina. If we get the chance, we'll definitely be back.

Excellent night spent at Stefano's place, beautiful common areas and a heavily stocked breakfast table. One spacious bedroom and one very comfortable bathroom. What about the welcome of Stefano and his loved ones who was very warm despite our strong shortcomings in Italian?? No words to describe this experience, but a huge thank you to them for their work. We had a great time with Silvia's place. Curated, new, furnished with style and taste, clean and really comfortable. Silvia was a really super host: kind, helpful, flexible, she worked to make us spend some pleasant time. We were very satisfied and recommend it!

Our stay with Daniella and Enrico (and their 2 lovely dogs Kilian and Mia) was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to their warm hospitality and kind hearts. The views over the valley were simply breathtaking, and the highlight of our visit was an evening at the observatory. Under the stars and moon, Enrico shared his passion and knowledge with us—an experience we’ll never forget. We were also treated to a delicious aperitif with a view that felt like a dream.
