Beachfront holiday rental in Monte Argentario

we stayed in this property chosen a bit randomly from many and I must say that never was a better choice. Roberta immediately proved to be available, friendly and with her attitude she made us feel immediately at ease The accommodation is really nice, spacious, bright, brand new and fantastically maintained. The sea is really just a few steps away with a huge and very well-maintained beach. The town offers the essentials, but there is a lot to do and see in the surrounding area. A mini holiday that will remain in our hearts, as well as Roberta, 🥰 with whom we are sure we will be in touch shortly to organise a longer holiday. So I recommend everyone to try the location in order to get to know the place .... you won't regret it, but above all Roberta...

Apartment 100% as described. We were pleasantly surprised: the apartment is definitely spacious, fresh and equipped with every comfort. The furniture is very modern. Impeccably clean. The location is strategic: in less than a minute on foot you can find yourself in the main street of the center of Castiglione with numerous shops and restaurants (a tip: always book for time because you risk staying without dinner! We were in Castiglione in the week of August and without booking it was difficult to find a place even late in the evening). In a few minutes by foot you can find yourself on the waterfront where there are many beach establishments but also numerous free beaches. Right outside the apartment, the supermarket is very comfortable! Niccolò and Daniela were always kind and super helpful: we especially thank Daniela for all the tips she gave us!!!! Not recommended!

Laura’s apartment is very cozy and well equipped, you can feel it is a family home. I enjoyed a lot staying there for 2 weeks, it is spacious, and close enough to walk everywhere , yet more secluded in a quieter area, with peace and silence.

Everything as expected: great location, spacious apartment for couples, very nice hosts, we will definitely be back.

This small "stone house" is ideal for 2 people. Regarding the location - okay, you can have different opinions. On the one hand, wonderfully located, on the other hand, "remote". Really private, beautiful terrace to linger. Unfortunately, access to the sea is difficult, either very steep - not for older people, or all private, closed off by gates. The "private bay" with beach, bar and restaurant is very nice and also very good food. The people are very nice. But also not easy to reach. We were there for 11 days, combining smaller excursions with good food every day. Once we wanted to go to the sea and then we were on the road in the mountains for almost 2 hours, partly on a natural road, because all the entrances to the sea were closed by gates. This is something that really annoyed us. Shopping, restaurants in Porto S.Stefano about 7 km away, no problem. Very nice harbour town. But it was a nice stay. Negative; Total of mosquitoes destroyed P.S.

If you’re looking for an experience on the sea, this is your place. Incredible to have access to a historic property as such, with sweeping views from around the property of the seaside. Walking distance to a great bar, the town of Porto Ercole, and a couple amazing beaches with full lounge service. The place has true character from a historical context if you’re interested in that type of thing. Thanks for sharing your great property.

We had a great stay! The apartment is great: clean, well-equipped, very comfortable. And above all, it's just a stone's throw from the beach, so you can enjoy it stress-free. Cristina was super available and responsive, it's nice. Frankly, nothing to complain about, we would come back without hesitation! Thanks ☺️

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The view of the sea is incredible. Paola was great and showed the love she has for the property upon our arrival. The place is special in many ways. The bathrooms are amazing. Being the end unit is great and private. There are a few steps and this place is worth every step.

everything is great. I suggest placing a few extra lights in front of the curtains to eat when it's dark.

Antonella was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. She manages the property for Lucio, who meets with you for check-in. Both were easy to communicate with but Lucio does not speak English.

Alessio's house is a wonderful hideaway close to the sea. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings, well worth the very rocky road to get there. We didn't meet Alessio but he was always connected and super responsive

A beautiful little house with a fantastic view of the sea. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are small but nicely furnished and you have everything you need. The terrace is very large with plenty of seating and beautiful tables. From there you have a wonderful view of the sea. The area consists of a few other vacation homes and is very quiet. There is a swimming pool that you can use and at the end of a long staircase an access to the sea (no beach but rocky but still great for swimming). Around the cottage is a small garden and many beautiful trees. Giovanni's father Eduardo welcomed us, showed us everything and was very friendly. If we had a question, we got an answer quickly. For shopping, you drive about 10-15 minutes by car to the next town. In summary: a very nice quiet place with perfect views with friendly people. We will be happy to come back.

What an amazing location with a sensational view. We were looking for a restful location in picturesque surroundings where we could relax and unwind; this was definitely that place. After a day at the beach (7 min walk - downhill way there and quite a steap climb back if you decided not to drive) this had all the (immaculately landscaped) outdoor living spaces you need to relax into the evening and look out to sea as the day ends....views you could even enjoy from the brilliant outdoor shower! The accomodation was perfect for our group (3 adult couples) and on the warmer days it was nice to have the air conditioning. Both the owner and the host were helpful and responsive throughout. The only noteworthy things are that the drive into the location was along some tight and twisty cliff roads (I would not like to drive it in the dark) and the local beach is rocky so I would highly recommend swimming shoes. Overall we felt this was a magical place and had an amazing stay!

Wonderful location with fantastic view of the sea. Very large, lovely garden. Perfect privacy. At the back of the domain, however, the owner has his own place to stay, with its own entrance. Fortunately, the owner was not present during our period, because that would have reduced that perfect privacy feeling a bit. It is an older villa but equipped with every comfort. Modern well equipped bathrooms. The kitchen is also very functional, but not modernized. We knew that in advance, because you can clearly see it in the photos. Silva is a perfect host : proactive and very friendly. The extra cleaning events we had requested were also perfectly arranged by Silva and excellently performed by Sabrina. The only downside of the location and the entire area is that there are many mosquitoes.

really nice apartment with access directly to the beach, not easy to get around during the evening if you want to visit some ports but it is worth it for the beautiful sea

Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

The perfect house! Why? Beauty of nature and landscape, strategic location, privacy, external and internal services, cleanliness, kitchen equipment (including barbecue), availability, kindness of Annamaria and Marcello. Everything exceeded expectations and was better than the photos. The house is so cozy that you could stay there for days without leaving. We are golfers and enjoyed the proximity to Argentario golf. We also took advantage of Annamaria's valuable tips regarding beaches, restaurants and boat rides with Paolo, a lovable sailor with whom we saw otherwise unreachable beaches and took unforgettable baths on the high seas. In short, 10 wonderful days, a holiday of absolute relaxation surrounded by the beauty of nature. Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Andre is a fantastic human being. Always helpful as we had some misfortunes during our trip to Italy really making an effort so that we can enjoy the most of our vacation. Tue house is beautiful, with a window that makes you feel at a boat, with amazing sea view. The location is very central - was perfect for us to stay with our baby and enjoy Porto Stefano’s restaurants, cafes and stores, all at walking distance. Would love to return!

An absolutely stunning part of the world. So so special to be right on the beach in a quiet rustic, out of the way spot in a lovely apartment! The space is just as described / as it looks and it backs right onto the beach so whether you’re inside or out you can enjoy the lapping waves. There’s also a restaurant on the beach which is glorious so you don’t have to cook the whole time. The closest shop is 20 minutes drive so bring what you need so you don’t have to leave again! Bear in mind if traveling with young kids that there are no blinds on the windows, there are mosquitoes at night and no microwave or kettle - but as long as you’re organised you will have an absolutely wondrous time here. Thanks to Michele who even swam back from his boat to bring us some insect repellent that we’d forgotten . We’d come back in a heartbeat to this very special place.

Excellent welcome, superb apartment with incredible views that you can't get enough of. Quiet and convenient. Huge sandy beach 15 minutes walk or 5-minute drive. Ideal location for visits to the surroundings (archaeological site, term, etc...). We can only recommend this rental and the host's welcome. We'll definitely come back. Michel

Cristiana calls this a magical place and she's absolutely right! We enjoyed this wonderful place very much! The apartment with beautiful terrace fully met the description and exceeded our expectations. Communication with Cristiana was always very smooth and very friendly. It was a dream vacation for us and we would love to come back!!!

The accommodation is absolutely recommended for a November getaway. We don't know what it's like in the summer, possibly the street noise could be a bit disruptive. The beach has suffered quite a bit due to the weather. unfortunately we did not meet Lucia in person, which we regret but was probably self-inflicted, we were constantly on the road. We would definitely book the apartment again anytime.
