Holiday rentals with a pool in Montclus

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The workshop is absolutely lovely! Huge windows that make you feel like you are in nature. Bright, cozy, quiet, comfortable, serene and all the amenities. Really cool design. Great hike only 10 minutes away to Les Trois Moulins. Best of all our Yolene, our wonderful and friendly host!

The accommodation matched the description of the listing and even better: between the pool and the different games, we had a great sunny and relaxing weekend. We'll be back! I recommend it.

Frédérique was attentive to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the region, offering all comforts. The pool, pleasant, for cooling off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing holiday, thanks to the wonderful garden.

We were guests with 6 adults and 3 toddlers between 18 months and 4 years. The house offers everything your heart desires. From a well-equipped kitchen with more than enough dishes and cutlery, to dining areas inside and outside the house, a cozy lounge area, a great pool with plenty of loungers, a large outdoor area with play facilities incl. Table tennis table and trampoline were all there. The kids had at least as much fun as we did. We would come back anytime😊. A visit to Goudargues is highly recommended. There is a market there on Wednesday.

Absolutely loved this place. You want the south of France in a nutshell? This is it. The gite was spacious, squeaky clean, fully equipped and the beds were so incredibly comfortable. The gite and surrounding buildings were full of character and soul. Jean Claude and Sophie have put so much love into their home and it was a privilege to share it with them. Jean Claude was a true delight. Such a warm and kind gentleman who couldn't do enough for you. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful with lots to see and do. Jean Claude's recommended some wonderful local places to visit too. We would not hesitate to recommend or come again. Thank you for a great stay.

This stay was a real joy, from our welcome by Sylvain to our departure, accompanied by Sylvain's mother; sunny people who make you want to come back! The house centralises everything you need for a peaceful stay: swimming pool, deckchairs, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, petanque, super comfortable bedding and conducive to a good sleep, in short, it is wonderfully good. The house, while being a few minutes from Barjac, is isolated from any noise or other nuisances, we just listen to the little birds that rock our naps. In short, we can't wait to come back next year, but for a longer stay: so many pretty villages and activities nearby! You can book with your eyes closed and without hesitation: you will come back a convert. Thanks again to Sylvain, his mum, and our host Michel for this place designed for the well-being of all.

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

The accommodation is very comfortable and well arranged. The small patio is lovely. We highly recommend this rental.

Come without so much as a second thought! Michelle is really nice and welcoming. The apartment is very well laid out, and perfectly maintained, equipped, and comfortable. You can walk to the city centre in 5 minutes. Really nothing to repeat. I will be back as soon as I can.

Béatrice is lovely and helpful. Friendly and welcoming to us and very kind with my dog. We had a relaxing and happy week here. The big pool is absolutely fantastic and the area around is private, spacious, practical and so very welcoming to enjoy. Swimming in the evening too with the trees around and the moon shining was just wonderful! Secure to park your car - everything feels safe and peaceful. We were so fortunate to be able to get this week as it’s booked up now for all of summer - definetly recommend! Thank you for our stay :)

This (too short) stay filled us with happiness. We were first very pleasantly surprised by the attentive and warm welcome from Marie, then won over by the comfort of the apartment and the garden (with swimming pool). We are delighted with our stay. Easy to access, self check-in, accommodating and very clear explanations. Lots of good tips for nearby restaurants. The space was as photographed and very clean. The pool is very nice, the jacuzzi a big plus. The access and the private terrace are very nice. Happy hosting Mercii

The host was phenomenal! We found his listing after our previously booked location unexpectedly cancelled on us just a few days before our planned arrival. We were a party of eleven and the space fit us perfectly. The view from the backyard/poolside was beautiful and there were lots of windows to open up in the house to enjoy the fresh air inside and out.

My wife and I stayed in Guillaume’s place for a month in April/May. Great time of year to visit CdP — a lot less crowded, and we were able to get an appointment for any wine tasting we wanted. Easy to get restaurant reservations too. Our favorite restaurants were Le Verger des Papes and Le Comptoir de la Mére Germaine. Guillaume’s place is perfectly situated near the castle. Parking is readily available nearby. The house is clean and spacious. Well-equipped kitchen. Finding it was a bit of challenge when we first arrived but once we did, the check-in process was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic three week stay. Julien was very responsive to our questions. His suggestions for lunch/dinner were spot on. Loved the fact we could walk into town. We cooked in a few times & enjoyed the veranda. Such a lovely home.

Great stay as a family (two adults and three big teenagers). The house is in one of the most beautiful alleys of the center of Uzes, if not the most beautiful, while being very quiet including on market day (Saturday morning) close by and very popular. Very nice to stroll through this beautiful village without having to take the car, have meals on the terrace (really very nice) of the house and if you prefer a restaurant, you are close to good tables, good bakeries/pastries, cafe terraces, very appreciated. The house is very well-equipped and decorated. Certainly there are stairs to go from one bedroom to another and to the living room and this is part of the charm of the house. Very good communication with Annie-France who was very responsive for details when necessary.

we had a great stay! the house is super comfortable, large, very well equipped, a decoration made with taste, very thoughtful amenities. a games room with everything that can be possible to have fun, and have a good time for young and old... our hosts were extremely kind and available, Gisou and Rolland are lovely and welcomed us with good bottles, Christmas decor, chocolates ...GREAT!!! That's so nice. the house is quiet, it's amazing as it's peaceful, and it's beautiful, we were able to admire the sunsets, a view of the Pont du Gard, wonderful!!! we struggled to leave so much that we loved this place. many activities around, beautiful villages to visit, horseback riding, walks, restaurants, ect... it's the perfect holiday spot: beautiful house and with everything, beautiful place, adorable hosts... what more could we ask for?
