The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Atypical 110 m2 duplex apartment located in the heart of historic downtown Gaillac on the 2nd floor. Very easy access by train station 800 m away. All shops are within walking distance. About 50 km from Toulouse, 25 km from Albi, Cordes and many tourist sites, Bruniquel, Penne, Castelnau de Montmiral, Puycelsi, St Antonin-Noble-Val, etc... All surfaces of the apartment are disinfected with household alcohol, hydroalcoholic gel available.
