The house was beautiful and clean. The lication was great! Too bad it rain during out stay so we couldn’t enjoy the pool and the backyard. Thank you!

Our family had the most incredible vacation. The house itself had everything we needed…a night chilling on the couch watching a movie, to sitting on the wraparound deck with some wine, enjoying the beautiful scenery , of course, some s’mores by the fire pit, and lots and lots of quality time with the family in the incredible pool!!!! I have to say my favorite spot was the pool !!! The backyard oasis is private, we played some music, had our corn hole games, there’s also a picnic table, outback, where we played Uno & trouble with our grandson. The kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner.!!!! The scenery was beautiful , we even did a few hours of fishing down by the creek. Our host Megan was very responsive , we couldn’t ask for a better host. Thank you for making this a fun filled week celebrating the memory of our son . Looking forward to coming back soon. Oh wait, cannot forget the waterfall in the backyard such a peaceful part of a whole oasis.

We were looking for an authentic Gettysburg experience for our extended family. We all agreed the home decor was more historically interesting and the scenery more breath-taking than the photos portrayed. Tina and Todd could not have been more accommodating. This facility was perfect for a family member with limited mobility and the pool was a hit! Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

Indescribable peace, serenity, and splendor! Cody was above and beyond in being accommodating and responsive! I cannot stress that enough. The house is perfectly designed and furnished! The pool and hot tub were inviting and wonderful! The nature, sunrises, sounds of birds chirping...No need to bother with packing, security lines for planes, trains, and automobiles for a getaway for me anymore ! Being at this house was no different than taking some far away trip. It had everything a resort would have without the fuss and muss of travel and people! My travel companion could not join me, so I was by myself! I got to experience true tranquility, peace, and mindfulness! I felt safe and secure. Only recommendation, is to give instructions for the A/C and washing machine, but I figured it out. Internet was great speed for working. I clearly would highly recommend a stay at the King's House, even for a queen or princess! Thank you Cody and Suzanne for a wonderful stay! One word, fabulous!

Dana’s home was absolutely beautiful. Not only were they super accommodating, the home itself is beautiful and the history it holds is something to treasure! A very memorable stay- highly recommended for anyone in the area! My son was in awe of their farm animals!

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in this beautiful home. It was very spacious and very clean. It had every amenity you could possibly want. It had a beautiful family room area and plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The pool was absolutely beautiful, but too cold for us to use at this time. The yard was completely fenced and very private. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We hope to stay again soon!

This home was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation! We had family travel in from several states, and everyone felt comfortable and truly enjoyed the spacious layout. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool, but I’m already looking forward to booking this home again. I’ll definitely be a repeat renter!

Duane and Matt were absolutely wonderful hosts! They helped make our quick weekend getaway truly unforgettable. Every amenity at the property was thoughtfully provided, and our daughters enjoyed every bit of it. Even while traveling internationally, Duane remained incredibly attentive and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights for our girls was getting to meet a baby sheep—such a thoughtful and special touch! They were especially taken with little Pinky Pie and are still talking about her. We absolutely loved this house. Looked just like the pictures. Very clean. It is in the country so I would recommend making sure you have your groceries before getting to the house. There is a Dollar General nearby. We spent a day in Lancaster and a day in Gettysburg and the house is centrally located between the two locations. It was perfect for us. I just wish we had had more time to just relax at the house because it was so peaceful.

Trust your GPS! This little slice of heaven is tucked away but the beauty surrounding you is worth the drive. Booked this as a family stay for a wedding at a nearby location and ended up using it as the staging ground for the wedding party to get their hair and makeup done. Made for great pictures!

Thom was an exceptional host from start to finish! He graciously accommodated our last-minute booking and provided a seamless long-term stay while we completed home renovations. When we needed to extend our stay, he made it happen without hesitation. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Thom was always responsive and eager to help with anything we needed, making our experience truly stress-free. I love this place so much and I will never forget this stay. Our son was having brain surgery at York Hospital and at night when we went back, I felt like I was going home. I slept so good. The house is very beautiful with many things to do in the house. Plenty of space, beautiful kitchen, comfortable bathroom, and spacious rooms. We went for a wedding and my bride, groomsmen, bridesmaids, and I all felt very comfortable and loved the house.

we loved staying at the cottage. The view from the porch was great. So walkable to shops and restaurants but still felt peaceful. Kitchen was stocked and clean, but no clutter! Yay! The bedroom on the top floor felt like a safe hideaway! We were lucky enough to be there during a storm and the sound of the rain on the roof was so relaxing. We plan to come back! Fishing was great! the trolley trail too. we want to come back and explore the area. plenty of towels. No complaints, only praise!

I cant say enough about how wonderful our stay was! Three generations of family members that were able to gather together for our sons graduation from college. This was our 2nd visit for girls weekend. Loved the beds, comfy couch, and great hot tub!

My wife and I had the best experience at this guest house. Lisa is an amazing host. Lisa blessed us with fresh eggs in the fridge from the farm. Lisa also had fresh milk, yogurts, apple cider, granola, and homemade cakes for us. The guest house and the whole property will take you back in time. The guest house was squeaky clean from top to bottom and had the perfect amenities for out stay. If you are on the fence between renting this property or another property in the area, rent this property for your vacation. You will not be disappointed!!

The place was very clean, cozy, several bonus items like fresh bakeries, pretzels, bottled water and chocolate. The surprising bonus were all the quotes in the house. They were very inspiring: - Good coffee is pleasure but good friends are treasure. - worry ends where faith begins - faith is not believing God can. It is knowing that he will. And many others! The place was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for a 4 day stay. We enjoyed the water view and had a crab feast on the deck overlooking the water. It was a perfect Memorial Day weekend.

Incredible, serene home with thoughtful design and furnishings. Our family loved the house, which served as a great space to gather over meals, games and stories. The deck on two sides of the house, with great seating, provided a gentle welcome to the nature around with harbor views in the distance. As seasoned Eastern Shore folks, this was an introduction to Rock Hall, which we really enjoyed, especially the refuge.
