Cottage holiday rentals in Moncarapacho

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

Wonderful, quiet place, with fully furnished house. Outside, there is a wonderful swimming pool (approx. 8x4x1.5 metres) in a spacious garden with beautiful views of the surroundings. As a cherry on top, there is also a super jacuzzi with delicious relaxing beds.

Michaela’s property is truly outstanding we have never stayed anywhere so beautiful. Pool was heated to perfection(at an extra cost). The whole experience was great, we had an issue with the jacuzzi which we were paying extra for thus was dealt with as soon as we raised it and in a very professional way. Ana the hosts representative was a delightful lady and very responsive. We had simply the best family holiday in a beautiful villa, in a beautiful county. We are already planning our next stay in Michaela’s beautiful home.

Everything was wonderful, the estate is great with its views, orange, everything, the little house had everything and they brought us to a great barbecue, Ana and her mother were wonderful, we really liked it, and the dog of the estate was great, and the dog of the estate was coming to visit us every afternoon, just to thank them for everything, we hope to return soon

What a beautiful discovery! Small authentic perfectly equipped house carefully decorated and nestled in a lemon field. A little corner of paradise within a 5-minute drive from the sea. A big thank you to Pilar for hosting us and for his kindness.

Thank you for an incredible stay! We rented a car in Faro and could very easily get around to beaches, restaurants and attractions. We really appreciated staying in this little village without all the tourism. Incredibly nice house in an incredibly charming village with walking distance to local restaurants, small shop with necessities etc. By car, the nearest large grocery store is about 5-7 minutes away, which was very convenient! The house has everything you could possibly need for a shorter or longer stay. If I come here again, I will 100% book the same accommodation.

Judite's place was very charming and had an amazing view. It was very peaceful and had everthing you needed. We didnt rent a car but used Uber, taxis and the local bus to get to neighbouring towns and even a day trip to the little fishing town Alvor. Judite responded quickly to all our queries before and during our trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Lavender cottage.

Antonio's place was a real delight. It's much larger than it looks in the photos, and it was super-clean and very well equipped. We went as a group of four - my wife and I and our two adult sons - and there was enough space for us to not get in each other's way! Pedras del Rei is a beautiful spot, and Antonio's place is perfectly situated in a quiet spot that is only a minute's walk from the pool, restaurants and access to the beach. Genuinely, there were no downsides to our stay, everything was great.

the place was great. you have everything you need for a holiday. good parking, nice and quiet surroundings.

Wow! I am sat here back at work wondering why i hadn't stayed for longer than a weekend!? The perfect few days, surrounded by animals, dogs, cats, pigs and horses, stunning views and the loveliest family and new friends! My friend and I booked this stay purposely for the horse riding and we really had the best time, we rode every day we were there and made some solid core memories. The horses are all so well looked after and the riding through the valley is stunning. Thankyou so so much Zoe, Martin and family for welcoming us in to your beautiful home and making us feel so welcome. I am already trying to figure out when i can come back :) Few things to note - I would say you need a car as there isn't anything within walking distance, the property doesn't lock but you are staying within the family's home so everything is super safe. If you dont like animals this isn't the place for you, there is a massive pool, a beautiful view and it really is just the perfect place to recharge.

Very nice and clean apartment with two balconies. The pool is clean and spacious, the loungers and parasols invite you to relax and chill. There is even a toilet block. The apartment is just a stone's throw away, so you can get drinks or snacks from the kitchen and fridge at any time. The location is very quiet and the combination ideal for relaxing for families with and without children. The pool and the landlord's property are beautifully green and flowery. Although Benafim is located in the hinterland, for holidaymakers with rental cars, the trips are a pleasant change from the various excursion destinations in the Algarve. For us, who also like to explore Tenerife by car, it is comparably well located. You can experience the hustle and bustle of Albufeira in 30 minutes. All in all, a nice accommodation with good value for money. We are very satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little cottage which was ideal for the four of us. We had a wonderful welcome pack, the best we have ever received in a holiday rental. The cottage was very clean, the beds cozy and comfortable, kitchen well equipped and bathrooms spotless. Anna was very warm and welcoming and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The area is very pretty and peaceful and centrally located for sightseeing. The outside space, garden and pool area were lovely and we particularly enjoyed the roof terrace when the sun left the terrace in the late afternoon. Brian was a very welcoming host and we enjoyed meeting him and his family who were staying in the farmhouse which is attached to the cottage. The cottage is very quiet and private but it is important to rent a small car as the entrance to the cottage is quite narrow. We would thoroughly recommended the property and hope to return again.

Mickael, was there to greet us when first arrived, and showed us around the unit. There was a nice welcome package of wine, beer & snacks. The accommodation was very clean and well appointed. Was great to have the washing machine available within the unit, and outside drying facilities. Bathroom had a good size walk in shower and was very clean. There were rural noises, which is pretty normal for this area of the Algarve, dogs & cockerels, which we soon learned to tune out during our stay. We had a hire car to get around the area and recommend to anyone else staying here to do the same. The unit was a nice size for two adults for 3 weeks, it could sleep 4, however, this would have been cramped.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the villa, which corresponded to the description and thanks to the GPS coordinates we also found it quickly and easily. The very nice and quiet location is fantastic, we had spent many sunny days by the pool and by the sea, exploring the magnificent Algarve on inconsistent days. A very sweet couple took care of the cleaning, bed linen and towels once a week, a perfect service, thank you again. We would love to come again and miss everything again now.

Beautiful accommodation, incredibly peaceful, comfortable and quiet. The pool and the pool house was fantastic and like most, we enjoyed spending most of our time there. The orange trees was amazing, we did try one and it was hands down the best orange we've had. Anything you need is there/nearby, with supermarkets not too far away down the road for anything you need. Mel's communication was fantastic and extremely helpful and all round super lovely. Not often we enjoy a few days totally unwinding but it was much appreciated after being in Lisbon and we would love to come back. Thank you Mel!

Maria Helena's place looked as shown in the pictures. A special feature is a good-sized pool and many sun loungers around the pool to accommodate a larger group. We also liked the historic feel and look of the house, while all the modern amenities are there. A large terrace with a seating area and dining table provides a nice place to relax all day (incl. late evenings and early mornings with a sunrise). Great views from the terrace to the surrounding countryside - the house is private with a good distance from the other houses. You would need a car to get to the shops, etc., but it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the shops in Lagos. Many local restaurants are even closer. Overall, it was a lovely holiday. Maria Helena is also an excellent host. She gives advice at the beginning and stays a few minutes away by phone if you have any questions or concerns. She also kindly let us stay longer on our check-out day as we had a late afternoon flight back home.

Charming apartment in perfect location. Ondina and her family are the nicest people, we felt very welcome. Everything is provided, even child and baby equipment. The place was very clean and parking is safe. The location is 3 mins by car from shops and restaurants and 10-15 mins to several beautiful beaches . One of the bests stays we ever had .

We had a great time. Located in beautiful countryside. Town nearby had great restaurant's and shops. Ria Formosa and the Algarve coast a short drive from the villa. Michael was a great host, friendly and attentive. We would book again.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.
