Holiday rentals with lake access in Moncarapacho

A charming house in the countryside with calm surroundings. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and the views around the house. The house has everything you need, and I would advise you to do a small shop before going there due to its location.

Fantastic place. We had great stay!

We were warmly welcomed by Isabel, who speaks French well. The accommodation is atypical and has all the comforts you need. We were able to park easily every time we got back from a walk. It is a few meters from the pedestrian streets for shops and restaurants but also from the waterfront, for the boat that takes you to the islands. Regarding the things we liked less, as mentioned in previous comments, the master bedroom has no shutter, just a transparent and most annoying white blind, is, that the neighbor next to an external motion-detection light that illuminates the room at each trigger for 10 seconds, and sometimes, dozens of times in a row, because this gentleman plays on his phone, in front of this lamp, so with each movement, it turns on... The other point that could be improved would be the maintenance of the pool water line, which is green. We took the time to clean up a bit!

Just back from a great week at Casa 38. The place was even better than the pictures and couldnt have asked for much more. The hosts were also really helpful with lots of great, local recommendations. Will definitely be back.

Great place to rest and relax. Calm, very beautiful sounds of birds and other animals. Comfortable house, large rooms and very well equipped.

Fantastic little flat walking distance from the old town of Lagos. Very clean and friendly host! Lovely to look onto the harbour and be walking distance from such great places. Would easily return. The flat had everything needed and was bigger than the pictures.

Carla sent detailed instructions for check in which made the process seamless. We loved the space and location, close to walk to downtown but quiet and closer to the beautiful beaches. One of the bathrooms is outside on the porch, but that was fine. My friend left an item behind and Carla was very quick to help ship it on to the next destination which was so appreciated. Would definitely recommend Carla as your host!

A very nice accommodation with a terrace that allows you to spend good times around a good meal. Shops and local activities are all nearby... so you can do anything on foot! The roof top with a pool is a real plus;-) Thanks for this beautiful stay

Great location, balcony with sea view, modern and tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, 2 elevators. The market and all supermarkets are within easy walking distance. Immediately behind the building in which the apartment is located is the old village of Armação de Pêra with numerous cafes and snack bars, where you can participate in Portuguese life among locals and enjoy the relaxed tranquility with coffee and pastel de nata or Pão de Deus. From the apartment to the beach with numerous fishing boats and the tourist gastronomy it is only 100 meters, so top location! Communication with Vanessa was very warm, upon our arrival there was a bottle of wine as well as jam, nut-nougat cream, capsules for the coffee maker, vinegar, oil, salt etc. at the table. A service we have rarely experienced and we have been to the Algarve very often. It couldn't have been better. Thanks for the hospitality! I would be happy to come back.

Pedro's place was really cozy, me and my friend really enjoyed our stay. At the place we stayed at a few days before we were freezing at night, so it was so amazing to finally be at an airbnb where the heater and air conditioning work properly! We could adjust the temperature easily anytime with a remote. All instructions were super clear because of the app / website link that has all the details in one place. Also, Pedro checked in multiple times just in case we have any questions or need help and is super responsive. This airbnb is only a few minutes away from various restaurants and a beautiful beach which is super convenient. There is also a supermarket right next door. Thank you so much Pedro for making our stay so comfortable!

This apartment has a terrace with a wonderful view of the coast and beach. It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to Old Town. There is a very nice market also within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay.

This was one of the best stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. It has a very large balcony with great views of the water. I did not have a car so having needed amenities (grocery store, train) close by was important. There is a nice boardwalk that runs in front of the building with lots of restaurants, shops and a local fresh fish and vegetable market nearby. You can see the Spar mini market from the balcony. The train station is about a 15 minute walk, but would recommend Uber if you have luggage. I walked to the train and went to Tavira for the day. The host, Tomas, was absolutely amazing. Great communication and provided flexible check-in and check-out which was appreciated. It is very obvious he is concerned for his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time in this apartment. Perfect for 5 people. It is large and very well-equipped. There is everything you need (windshields and umbrellas included for beach enthusiasts). The host is very responsive and, even though we had a hot water issue, she was able to respond instantly, and the issue was resolved in just 4 hours. You deserve the 5 stars, because everything was perfect, and even if you had any problems, you were able to be responsive. Quality customer service for a good value for the money. Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

To use just one word to describe Jan home: wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful place, close to nature and away from busy cities then this is your place to stay. It has everything you'll need and perhaps Jan you'll do his best for more if needed. To us, his home was a piece of heaven and it did reminded me of my grandparents place when I was a young and spend the time summer holidays with them. Here you have orange trees and all you have to do is to pick one or two and enjoy them. Oh, I shall not forget Odin (the Cat). He gave us a big welcome in the first day but because we made the mistake not to allow her inside he completly ignored us during the stay. We had the 2nd chance on the last day when he joins us a for a breakfast! :-) Things to mention: you'll need a car (not a low small car but rather a mini SUV perhaps) as it's not close to a bus or train routes. Good Wifi receptions. We will return for sure as there is so much to see around. Thank you Jan for hospitality!

We had a wonderful time at Jan's place. The garden with natural pool are laid out with great effort and care and prepare a unique experience in quiet nature. This place is excellent for just unwinding for a few days and experiencing the beautiful hinterland of the Algarve. Thank you!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

We had a pleasant stay. Bruna's welcome is very friendly. Listing is as described. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The barbecue was well present. the place a haven of peace. we highly recommend it.

What a special place! In the mountains and so beautiful. Jacqueline and her family were really nice and generous with their time. Definitely would come back again.
