Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

La Planque des Alpilles, holiday rental for 4 people (6 during summertime) with a private swimming pool (4 x 2,5 m) in a unique setting in the middle of olive trees, in the Alpilles. It is an autonomous (solar energy) holiday home, 2000m2 of land without fences and without neighbours with a superb view. Composed of a convivial living room-kitchen, 2 bedrooms with shower room, plus a vintage caravan as 3rd bedroom for two additional persons. Vegetable garden, terraces, bar, plancha, WIFI, Sonos.

The panoramic Oustau Reuze Cō

Located in a very quiet area on the heights of the village at the foot of Ventoux, this charming little house of 50 m2 has its own private entrance. A large terrace with garden furniture allows you to enjoy beautiful sunny days and sweet evenings. Guests have access to our outdoor swimming pool (heated April-Sept) and we offer on-site electric bike rental too.

New for 2024. Superb cottage with high-end materials. Swimming pool shared with the owners from June to the end of September. Please note, this cottage is available for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old. And not 4 adults. Accessibility: It is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility (wheelchairs) because of the step at the entrance and the size of the toilets
