Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mjøsa

We spent an amazing weekend at Eirik’s place, they we extremely friendly and responsive. The cabin is well equipped, close to the river, the jacuzzi was amazing.

Christian was a great host, he was acommodating and was easily reached. The place is amazing, was as advertised and easy to find. It's located a bit far from the city (15mins away via tolls), but exactly what we want, peaceful from the hustle and bustle of Oslo. The place feels homey, the christmas vibes add to the whole holiday vibes. One small nitpicky detail is that, as mentioned by Christian, this is usually where they stay at, so as mentioned there is a bit of a clutter here and there. Noticed some unclean dishes and airfryer, but otherwise the place is great. Felt like home. Overall it's a 4.7/5 for me and my family, we had an amazing time in Oslo and a contributing factor was Christian's place! ♥️

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

Fint hus som er godt beskrevet i annonsen. Rask og tydelig kommunikasjon hele veien.

Landlig hus med stort og koselig uteareal. Korte avstander til kollektivtrafikk, stor og fin badestrand, fotballbaner og butikker/Holmen kjøpesenter. Vi storkoste oss i huset til Therese, og kommer veldig gjerne igjen. Therese var svært hyggelig og imøtekommende og svarte raskt på henvendelser.

Awesome place tucked away in the mountains. A bit of a ways from town especially with no car, but was 100% worth staying there!

Helt fantastisk! Stor plass, perfekt for en familie. Første gang jeg følte meg hjemme et sted jeg aldri har vært før. Kamilla hadde til og med lagt ut tegnesaker til min yngste sønn og sjokolade med en koselig lapp. Kommer definitivt tilbake! Hadde gitt 10-stjerners om det var mulig 😊

Inger’s place was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the abundant natural light coming in the great big windows, the wood burning fireplace, the sauna (which Inger’s husband Knut graciously helped us get going, then shared interesting information about the history and unique ecological features of the area), and the river views. It’s conveniently located 12 minutes from downtown Lillehammer, making our Birken weekend convenient!

Veldig fin leilighet, god plass til mange og alt vi trengte for en fin helg. Perfekt beliggenhet. Sigmund var en flink vert, han svarte raskt og ga oss god informasjon

A really beautiful and cosy apartment with great views over Oslo, within walking distance of places of interest and great cafes/restaurants, with public transport links also nearby. It's very clear that Kari-Anne and Inge care greatly about the experience of their guests, and they are always very responsive and happy to help with recommendations.

Amazing apartment and amazing hosts. I had a very good stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, cosy and near everything anyone might need. Ingvill and her brother were responsive, easy to communicate with, accommodating, kind, friendly. I felt exactly like my home away from home. I would be pleased to come back again soon.

Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus liegt wunderschön oberhalb von Favang mit einem tollen Blick. Wir wurden nett begrüßt und hatten alles was wir brauchten. Die Kommunikation mit Julia war bestens. Wir hatten ausreichend Holz für den Ofen, um es uns gemütlich zu machen. Wir konnten noch eine schöne Woche mit Skifahren verbringen. Für Langlauf ist Hafjell besser geeignet und auch nur 30 Minuten entfernt. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Un bell'appartamento e con buona dotazione. Zona servita da mezzi di trasporto pubblici che rendono agevoli gli spostamenti. Nelle immediate vicinanze si trovano tutti i servizi e negozi. Molto buono!

The owner lives in the property and cleared it for us. A beautiful apartment. Designed with good taste. Everything we thought of was in the apartment. The bed is comfortable. The living room is large and comfortable. Furnished and pleasant balcony. A grocery store is nearby. A bus stop is 4 minutes away and the metro is an 11-minute walk away. The apartment is on the fourth floor without an elevator and is about 45-60 minutes away by public transport from the center.

Het is een heerlijk, schoon en mooi ingericht appartement in een superleuke buurt. De host is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanuit deze fijne plek hebben we Oslo verkend en een hele leuke tijd gehad. Zeker een aanrader! Annette

Mooi appartement op goede plek. Fantastisch uitzicht, dichtbij de piste. Het grootste 2 persoonsbed was wel wat smaller dan verwacht maar nog steeds ok. Het bed sliep heerlijk!

“Ein absoluter Traum! 🌟” Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zum Check-out war alles perfekt. Camilla & Snorre sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank, Camilla & Snorre für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We enjoyed our stay very much - the house is very cosy and you can feel like home. The house is in walking distance to the public transport, the main road with shops and restaurants and a supermarket. The communication with Petter was very friendyl and informative. Thank you very much!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

Frode’s place had so much charm. We loved all the outdoor spaces, and the kitchen was a great place to cook. The whole family enjoyed the sauna because we had a lot of rain. Thanks Frode:-)

The place is huge, beautiful, and dreamy. The scenery is spectacular! ❤️We were looking for a place to conduct our wedding dinner. Since it was the 1st of December, it was so hard to find an intimate at the same time a cozy nice place to do that. However, Silje opened her doors for us and accommodated us in her amazing BnB. She is very responsive, approachable, and easy to communicate with. She is extremely helpful and caring for her guests. Moreover, she is also flexible with changes and negotiates fairly. We love her so much and we totally recommend her place to everyone. 😘😍🎉🎉

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Kristin et Lars. La maison est bien située (avec de nombreuses possibilités de ski aux alentours), très spacieuse et offre une vue magnifique sur la ferme et la campagne environnante. Depuis dix ans, nous voyageons régulièrement en Norvège et en Scandinavie, et c’est l’un des meilleurs logements que nous ayons eus. Kristin est une hôte très accueillante, avec qui il est très agréable de communiquer. Elle a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour parfait. Nous reviendrons certainement !
