Cabin in the Cove

OliviaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gretchen’s cabin was perfect for a last minute weekend getaway. The space was exactly as described, perfectly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Gretchen was a great host and communicated well throughout the weekend, even making sure we fared okay through some overnight storms. I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful tiny home @ Camper Mtn on Roaring Creek

RachelRating, 5 starstoday
Best Airbnb experience ever! Less than two miles to AT! The tiny home is perfect for one or two, and really doesn’t feel tiny! The amenities are great! The space was very clean, the doors had a beautiful view of the mountain side, and the creek is close to be beautiful background noise and to dip in! Eric is the property manager and was very friendly and helpful! He verified I was comfortable with the space and gave great suggestions of trails nearby and going into town! He offered endless hospitality! Truly a gem in WNC!

Retro Camper in the forest.

LauraRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Stephanie was a super host. She made us feel welcome and helped us at every turn. She was clear about the way the Hurricane damaged the bridge to get to the camper. Stephanie provided help when we were moving out and was very gracious! We are volunteering and she invited us o her thanksgiving dinner! She made us pasta salad and pumpkin pie! It’s been great staying here. We were here during the early winter and Stephanie made certain we were warm. Thanks so much for having us Stephanie!

This is a great private, remote retreat. It was warm and cozy even with snowy temperatures and the hot tub was perfect.

Top O' the Valley

StefanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great country location, at the end of a road. Beautiful mountain views. There were 5 of us, and the place had six beds. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had several campfires. There is a second outdoor kitchen area, under a large outdoor cover. Beautiful front porch with two rocking chairs. We had our morning coffees there every day of our five night stay!! Five stars all the way!!

A-Frame of Mind Mountain River Cabin B

CharlesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
You get exactly what’s shown—peaceful serenity in a stunning A-frame cabin on the mountainside. We had planned to go into town and eat out each day, but after arriving, we chose to hit the grocery store instead and cook all our meals in so we wouldn’t have to leave. The cabin features a beautiful full kitchen stocked with everything we needed for prepping and cooking. A-frames can be tricky for temperature control—heat rises—so we cracked the upstairs bedroom window and slightly opened the sliding door downstairs. The cabin is so well insulated that this kept it cool during the day and warm enough at night when closed up. Andrew is a fantastic host—he answered all our questions in the weeks leading up to the trip and provided all the details we needed before arrival. Be sure to READ the house rules/manual—it’ll guide you through most questions or needs you might have. We’ll definitely be back!
