The A-frame Bella Vista has a Marvelous and stunning view, and precisely as owner, Alicia, describes as a ‘Million’ dollar view. This cute space is a must see, stay, and enjoy inside and out! I fully recommend a stay for more than a night or two. Easy to find, drive is steep, but manageable, beautiful deck, yard, great parking, and extremely close to town with wonderful shops, coffee, quaint restaurants, and easy driving to the main highway, gas, groceries, driving through and among the mountains, with many places to visit. Many local artisans. This special place offers a comfortable and peaceful place to rest, relax, and feel rejuvenated and blessed all at the same time. Alicia was extremely quick to help with texts and communication, even going out of the way to make sure everything was ready and willing to go the extra mile. The washer and dryer were extremely convenient, along with the all amenities. The deck is a special places for coffee, meals, reading and more.

A wonderful stay, the house was easy to find, a nice quiet street. The house was even better than the photos. Marie was so responsive and proactive with suggestions. We will definitely be back!

My family loved staying here. The beautiful scenery, quiet location, places to explore, it was all amazing. The family enjoyed the hot tub! And I love that they are pet friendly! My puppies enjoyed running around, smelling all the new stuff outside!

Had a wonderful time staying in this house. The location was perfect walking distance to almost everything in Burnsville. The hosts and the property manager were super agreeable and responsive! We would definitely stay here again

We had the absolute best day at this Airbnb there are far a few many in between that look like the pictures this one looked exactly like the pictures we had all of the amenities felt just like home . Will definitely recommend and give this place a 10 star review if we could so much to do in the area so beautiful peaceful we even saw deer wild turkeys bunnies and snow.

Great country location, at the end of a road. Beautiful mountain views. There were 5 of us, and the place had six beds. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had several campfires. There is a second outdoor kitchen area, under a large outdoor cover. Beautiful front porch with two rocking chairs. We had our morning coffees there every day of our five night stay!! Five stars all the way!!

A great location if you are doing activities at Beech Mountian resort, very walkable. They were very responsive and provide very good info for dining and activities.

Great cozy spot in Banner Elk! Only 15-20 minutes away from Boone. It was very nice being in the trees and hills. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cozy place close to Boone.

Great peaceful place to stay. We had an absolute blast while we were there. It is absolutely beautiful. Lance was a great host and made you feel right at home. You would never even know he was there if he hadn’t come out and met you the place is absolutely beautiful if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay, you can’t go wrong staying here. It is beautiful. Words can’t describe how beautiful it was there and what was even more amazing two jets flew right over where we were staying at at a very low altitude. I meant words can’t describe when you see that and also the wildlife was everywhere. A deer walked up within 20 feet of us. We loved our stay and we were going back in October.

This place is very comfortable. I was looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat. This was it. Even though it is next to the hosts house they gave me my space. In fact I never even saw them. The tub is amazing and the kitchen is well appointed. Top score. IF you are thinking of staying here you should.

Richard and Martha's place was very relaxing. It was nice seeing all the deer on the way in and stopping by the visitors center at the park to see the water. We will be back again.

This condo is nestled in a beautiful location, surrounded by a cool breeze from the trees, and a gorgeous peek at the mountains through the trees. The condo is well equipped, spacious, and cozy. The beds are firm for those who like a firm mattress. The deck is relaxing and inviting, and the nearby walking areas are peaceful, but mountainous for our love for exercise. Parking is great, and Burnsville has a lot to offer.

This is the exact type of place I look for on AirBnB, peaceful, private, off the beaten path with beautiful natural surroundings. It is not luxurious but is very clean, comfortable and cozy. there are 4 levels of stay I could see at this host location. Your own tent, a teardrop camper, a tiny house and an RV. I stayed in the Tiny home and really enjoyed the cozy, secure feel. As far as the surroundings go, they are hard to beat if you love nature. It is a short hike to the Appalachian Trail and the entire area is filled with areas to hike and rushing creeks. I didn't take the time to fish but it looks like a fishers wonderland. Eric, who manages the location, is very friendly and accommodating. He has hiked the entire Appalachian Trail and was at this location when Helene hit. He has many interesting stories and the videos to go with them. Whether you want a respite from the trail or just a great place to relax among nature I would highly recommend this location.

Michelle was very friendly, helpful & responsive. The place was great & it was such a fun experience. We showed up at night & it was a little hard to find, but once we did some walking around we figured it out. Definitely would stay here again!

You get exactly what’s shown—peaceful serenity in a stunning A-frame cabin on the mountainside. We had planned to go into town and eat out each day, but after arriving, we chose to hit the grocery store instead and cook all our meals in so we wouldn’t have to leave. The cabin features a beautiful full kitchen stocked with everything we needed for prepping and cooking. A-frames can be tricky for temperature control—heat rises—so we cracked the upstairs bedroom window and slightly opened the sliding door downstairs. The cabin is so well insulated that this kept it cool during the day and warm enough at night when closed up. Andrew is a fantastic host—he answered all our questions in the weeks leading up to the trip and provided all the details we needed before arrival. Be sure to READ the house rules/manual—it’ll guide you through most questions or needs you might have. We’ll definitely be back!

So I really hate giving the Fossil House any stars, seriously instead of stars it should be sharks teeth or vertebra fossils... We're going with 5 sharks teeth this time! My stay at the Fossil House was just what I was looking for, solitude, inspiration and a chance to recharge. The cabin was just as pictured in the listing. Clean and comfortable, and the personal and sometimes quirky decor made it feel more homey and inviting. Frank was a Great host with very quick responses to any questions I had. Appreciated Frank checking in unobtrusively a couple of times during my stay to see all was going well. (Personal side note: You will notice the huge devastation in WNC from Helene if you travel anywhere through the area. It is amazing the amount of recovery that has been done, but there is much more to do. Consider being generous with your tipping or donations to your local servers, businesses, non-profits etc., and with your patients as well.) Thank you Frank, hope to see you soon!

Maria's place was wonderful! The tiny home was decorated so pretty and had a peaceful feeling to it as well. The description and pictures matched exactly to the home. The little extras added were greatly appreciated. We wish could have stayed longer than one night but definitely want to come back again.
