Beautiful retreat! Fenced areas for my dogs was a blessing. Interesting structures, vegetation and the Cow! She was so fun! Loved being around the dogs and came for head scratchers.

Great quiet place. Only stayed for a night to go hiking and pick my daughter up from camp. Exactly what I needed. Would recommend.

Had a fantastic three-night stay here at the end of May. Flowers in the area were in bloom, the view from the balcony is great, and the studio itself was well furnished and stocked with bathroom supplies (which most airbnbs do not provide). We probably paid a bit less than usual due to the ongoing cleanup efforts after Hurricane Helene in September of 2024. Most of the good hiking trails on the Blue Ridge Trail are still closed, and the supermarket in Swananoa is also still closed. Groceries and shopping can be found in Asheville, and good hiking can still be found nearby in Montreat.

What a wonderful stay in a wonderful cabin! This cabin is awesome - great bed, great shower, great location, great hosts. The fireplace is awesome. It can be switched on for just the overall effect but you have the option of turning up the heat for warmth. I scheduled my stay for some much needed peace and quiet during a difficult time in my life. I arrived with the sniffles but it progressed into much more. I kept asking for extensions if time and Samuel & Angie were awesome. Thanks again to them. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and my stay.

I stayed here for five nights on a work trip. was really great. cozy, log cabin atmosphere. looks just like the photos. somewhat private. I heard roosters in the morning and a donkey in the evening. I'll stay here again if I return to the area.

Walter gave us an amazing place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Very secluded and private, which is something we were looking for. We felt right at home when we walked in and wish we could take this cabin back home. Everything was very tidy, well organized and we didn’t have to go looking for anything. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it rained a majority of the weekend, which we were bummed about, but that didn’t stop us from sitting outside and listening to the sound of the river, rain and frogs. Very peaceful! Being so close to the river it made it very easy and quick to run down and throw a few casts in the river. Thank you Walter for the very comfortable stay. This place is on our list of places to hopefully return to!

Jenny’s guest house was exactly just what I needed to decompress and relax. I was welcomed with some fruit and a muffin. Place was clean with everything that I needed. My favorite part was the back porch. Read, ate dinners and sipped wine there. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Great location for a quick family weekend get away. Loved the scenic location, wildlife, and sound of the creek from the comfy porch. Listing as described, kitchen clean and functional. Beds/pillows clean and comfortable. Location close to Asheville and local attractions.

This was such a great stay! Peaceful and so cozy. The tiny house was well equipped for anything we’d need and super cute! My favorite part was the screened in porch.

This tiny home was amazing! There was a trail to the lookout on the property that I walked to with my doggo. She provided a bed and bowls for my Loki. The drive up to the home was beautiful! 10/10 recommend!

Our stay at Kirsten's cabin was great! It was clean and we felt very comfortable throughout our entire stay. As other reviews have said, it was a bit loud since you could hear the traffic go by, but we had a sound machine for our baby that helped drown out a lot of that noise at night. Kirsten also had a couple of sound machines as well for those who do not bring their own. I will note, in case anyone is in a similar situation as us, that we had a difficult time finding a place for the pack n play. We didn't want it in the living room, as we'd be spending time out there once our daughter went to bed, and the loft wasn't tall enough, so ultimately we needed to put it in the bedroom, and unfortunately, it only fit (very tightly) between the bed and the dresser. This meant my husband had to sleep in the loft or he'd be climbing over me if he had to get up in the middle of the night, but this wasn't a deal breaker and it all worked out in the end :) Thanks Kirsten for a great time!

From start to finish, 5-Star treatment! The dome is epic, so much light, finishing touches and style are perfect, the GOLD! Amazing views, hot tube, perfect design of Dome and deck use! Wonderful amenities! We will be back! Great host experience/ easy, Clear communicative. Great job! 100%!

We had a fantastic weekend at this stay. Lots of rivers and waterfalls nearby to explore. If you’re looking to get out in nature without going to the effort of camping, this place is perfect. Jennifer and her husband were wonderful hosts!

Great location between Asheville and Black Mountain! Intimate neighborhood with quiet. Perfect stop on our 4 day road trip. Wishing we had more time to explore and enjoy! Maybe next time! Very close to The Cove, Montreat and Ridgecrest.

I had a great stay at Tamara's place! The space was immaculately clean and really comfortable. Tamara went out of her way to be accommodating-she even left the door unlocked with the lights on for my late check-in after a wedding, which was such a thoughtful touch. There were even snacks waiting, including some amazing-looking brownies I had to sadly pass on (watching my A1C!) but the gesture was much appreciated. Would absolutely stay again if I'm ever back in town. Highly recommend!

Perfect tiny home for a weekend away! Everything you need for a getaway and a very enjoyable environment, especially on the deck! Pupper enjoyed the time as well.

We booked a six day stay and could have stayed another week. Nikki and Scott's cabin is warm and inviting. The decor is so cool and there are little treasures and surprises in and out. The drive to the top of the hill takes a little getting used to but if you want mountain views, this is the place for them. There is nearby Roan Mountain along with Grandfather Mountain, which is a must-visit. There is a lot to do here-visiting Ashville, nice restaurants in Banner Elk where Grandfather Mountain is located. The Campbell sanctuary farm is a form of entertainment in and of itself. We got to pet and groom horses, saw 19 ducklings that hatched from one elderly duck who apparently didn't get the memo that she was old, and visited the other myriad animals of the farm-ponies, chickens, a friendly goose, cats, dogs, and more. Just sitting on the porch overlooking the farm was so peaceful and restful. I highly recommend this beautiful sanctuary for a getaway. Nikki and Scott are great hosts!

Kevin was a delightful host, willingly brought firestarter to assist with the fire pit and helped us have a wonderful night fire perfect for s’mores. The place was an amazing stay and perfect for our weekend getaway! Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Jo’s cabin was a peaceful retreat for my husband and I. It was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. An added bonus was her artwork. It was like being in an art gallery! We also enjoyed homemade blueberries muffins and blueberry & grand mariner jam.

Peaceful and relaxing weekend. Host is always avaliable and provided lots of firewood for our stay. We hope to be back again!

John’s place was amazing for what we were looking for! We were passing through to hike the Grassy Ridge Bald trail for the sunrise. His outpost was in the perfect location. John led us up to the BNB and explained everything about it and how to use the amenities. He provided fresh wood for a fire and ensured we felt comfortable with the space before leaving. It's small but cozy and provides the perfect peaceful stay, 10/10 recommend.
