The Ghibli Museum and Inokashira Park are each about a 15-minute walk, making the area convenient for sightseeing. From Mitaka, the Chuo Line reaches Shinjuku in as little as 12 minutes on the Rapid Express (17 on the Rapid). Mitaka is also the Sobu Line’s starting station, so travelers with large luggage can board comfortably from the first stop. Nearby: drugstore 1 min and 7-Eleven 5 min.

The large park named Inokashira is near, you can see cherry blossom street. Nishi-Ogikubo town has many shop streets. If you wonder the way, I will go to welcome with a car at Nishi-Ogikubo station.
