The pool, BBQ and sauna were super comfortable, and I was happy to have a bicycle.

This place was incredible. Having a FamilyMart 50m away from the house was so fun. Also the area is very walkable.

Our group of 7 fit comfortably and felt right at home. Shopping, food, and train stations were a close walk. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. I cannot recommend this home or our host enough.

It was a very clean room as shown in the photos, and I had a comfortable stay.There were plenty of towels and dishes, which I was very grateful for.I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

This home was perfect for us! We were so comfortable and felt right at home. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was in such a great location to be able to hop on the train to go shopping and get great food. Plus it was a quick walk to the conbini which was a huge help! The neighborhood was peaceful and we felt safe there. Kat responded almost immediately to all of my messages. We had to extend for another night and got it extended within 5 minutes!! I would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend Kat as a host 😃

A comfortable, cozy and private Japanese home tucked away in a quiet small street in a lovely area. Fans of Studio Ghibli will love the small figures you can find around the house. The host and co-hosts were very punctual with responses and I had no issues staying here. Amenities were easy to use. I had the pleasure of meeting the host, Kato in person. He spoke great English, was friendly and I was able to ask some additional questions about the stay. There is a family mart convenience store only a few minutes away from the home and is near the allocated guest parking, which is easy to find. I find myself looking forward to another stay here in the future!

Spacious, cosy & stylish. Enormous living room with beautiful long table and work/play room with board games. Bedrooms with large wardrobes, firm beds but pillows are low, host is kind enough to provide backups. It is on 2nd floor so prepare to climb a few steps. Entrance may be a bit tricky to locate at first, especially at night. Walkable to 7-11, drug store, public bath, supermarket & Jindaiji. Bus to Keio Chofu st. (to Shinjuku) or JR Mitaka or Kichijoji st. (to Tokyo & Akihabara), Inokashira Park & Ghibli Museum. Driving-wise it's next to Chofu IC of Chuo Expressway, so you can drive to Shinjuku in 30 mins w/o traffic. Plenty cooking utensils. Soundproof is wonderful - barely any noise from nearby highway, but could feel vibration sometimes. While it can cater 6+ pax, it has only 1 bathroom which may be inconvenient to larger party. Smooth & swift communication with hosts. Recommend to anyone wants to stay in bigger & well-kept house within reasonable distance from proper Tokyo.

Maiko's room was used for one night with a friend's family for lessons, as the children's recital was along the Keio Line and took until late at night.😊 It was my first time staying in Sasazuka, but I thought it was a very convenient town with many restaurants, clothing stores, and miscellaneous goods stores in front of the station. There are some trendy shops and some shops that have an old-fashioned atmosphere, and I got the impression that it is a great place to live. The neighborhood near the house is quiet and calm, and I was able to stay as if I lived in this town. Children tend to get excited when they are in an unusual environment, but the house was simple and very beautiful, so I thought it was good to be able to relax before the recital! I had to bring a toothbrush and cosmetics, but I had everything I needed, such as shampoo and towels, so I was able to stay with minimal luggage. It was also helpful that there was a convenience store and supermarket near the house.✨ Thanks😊

Great place to stay. So spacious, very good to have family visits

Our family of four stayed here for eight nights. The host couple personally welcomed us, brought us gifts, and gave us a detailed introduction to the use of the appliances and facilities in the house and precautions. They also very thoughtfully prepared baby wipes, shower gel, toys and other baby supplies for the baby who was with us. The refrigerator in the kitchen on the second floor was filled with water, drinks, yogurt and other food for us to use for free.The house is very clean, the steps to the second and third floors, the kitchen, the rooms are clean and impeccable.The surrounding environment of the residence is very quiet, the living atmosphere is strong, and it is in stark contrast to the crowded downtown area of Tokyo. There are convenience stores, fast food restaurants, restaurants, large supermarkets and other catering facilities within walking distance.The living room, kitchen, and living room on the second floor provided a convenient living space for our family. In the morning, we would have breakfast together in the kitchen, and after eating, we would start the day's journey. In the evening, after returning to the residence, we would rest and chat in the living room.The host responded very quickly and always replied quickly to messages. More importantly, she helped us collect and dispose of kitchen and household waste during the trip in a timely and enthusiastic manner. Tourists who have been to Japan know how important this is!The stairs to the second and third floors are narrow and steep (it can't be helped, a common problem in Japanese detached buildings), which can be a bit difficult for elderly people who need to carry large luggage upstairs and have difficulty walking, but the stairs are equipped with handrails to ensure the safety of going up and down the steps.If you want to avoid the crowds of downtown Tokyo, this is a great choice for a family to live in.

We had a great stay. 5 min walk to train station. Very easy to take train to all the main attractions but further out to chill away from the crowd. There are alot of restaurants traditional and non traditional. 7 -11, Family Mart, local Supermarket with 5 min walk. Highly recommend and great instructions and easy checking.

We had a wonderful 16-day stay at this Airbnb in Tokyo! The location was incredibly convenient — just a short walk to Kamikitazawa Station, with easy access to Shibuya and Shinjuku (only about 15–20 minutes by train). The host was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. He helped with everything from picking up our Amazon delivery to arranging airport transfers both at arrival and departure. Throughout our stay, he was always responsive, kind, and genuinely accommodating. A truly super Superhost — highly recommended!

Zuzu& Gizmo's is a beautiful property close to train stations, food, shrines, and more. The home is welcoming and comfortable. It is 4 stops to Shinjuku from the house, so all of Tokyo is at your hands as far as transportation goes. The owner is prompt with responses and so kind. While the property was made for cats, it's still wonderful if you don't. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

It was my first time in Japan. The Airbnb was great, clean and felt like home. There were clear instructions on how to work everything and even some spots to go to in the surrounding area.

We initially were concerned we might be far away from the things we wanted to do while visiting Tokyo, but were surprised to fall in love with the little neighborhood where this home is located. While the home doesn't have a ton of lounging space, it was practical for what we needed - a comfortable place to lay our heads after full days of exploring.

My family and I had a pleasant stay at Ikuko's place. The house is clean and has everything that we need—towels, hair dryer, and shampoos/soap. Ikuko was also very approachable and friendly; she even gave us a welcome gift and helped us to book an airport transfer bus. Overall, the house is very homie and convenient as it's just a few min walk to the station and konbini. :)

We stayed for six weeks with a baby. It felt like home. Even a baby bed was prepared for us. Very quiet neighborhood, plenty space in the apartment, and a comfortable sofa. The kitchen was well equipped and the large gas stove was perfect for cooking during our long stay. Super friendly host and house keeper. We will always consider staying there again when we come to Tokyo. Thank you!

Our two families (4 adults, 3 children) loved our stay here and in Koenji. In fact, we could’ve spent our entire time in Japan here. What an amazing location with so much to see and do! The house was spacious and clean and we loved returning to it after sightseeing locally or further afield. The kitchen amenities were a bit lean (needed more pans, towels, and minimal cooking supplies like oil) but otherwise we wanted for nothing! The vintage shopping, music and bar scene, and old world haunts here are second to none. We’d love to return one day! Thank you for everything.
